Same Duke? Paired with the picture of Jagoda eating pie, leads to Jagoda=Duke?

Page 11 is bothering me. The Incentives portion is clearly covering a portion of the history section. Anyway:

Wtf is a "special" type of person and what is this hyperboard they will receive from the MTC for relocating? The "special" people also get a 'big key' from Blackstar and a life time pass in FeBrizzio's air ship..
Also the hand written note from ML asking why they are letting FeBrizzio's do something.

Not that it's important to the game, but the history section is on page 9, incentives on 11. So there was something on page 9 or 10 someone wanted ripped out.

Jagoda=Duke?

I don't think so. I think there's a lot of stuff that's just superfluous. I wouldn't get too hung up on some of the symbology.

It's interesting that the flickr images have been up for a while and we just didn't find them... if they were actually up before today.

Time to start looking on tweet, facebook, myspace and everywhere else for stuff.

I dunno, the Flickr photos indicate they were uploaded today.

No coincidence then that it's the "Jagoda Museum Center".

Very Happy

I believe those ticks on the grid indicate a logarithmic scale...

for the numbers, some pattern ideas:
1000 - 3,6,9,15,27 = 1*3, 2*3, 3*3, 5*3, 9*3
2000 - 3,84,2010,7,124 = 1*1+3, 9*9+3, 9*223+3, 2*2+3, 11*11+3
3000 - 7,T,A,U,Q = ...related to QUATI?
4000 - +,I,!,NO,NO = I, completes the QUAT from the previous row?
5000 - 3,(?)D,NO?,NO,M = no idea

Just home after being all over the place and wanted to make a quick note on this.

On your first row of 3,6,9,15,27, the mathematic scheme you are using leaves several variables out. But if we took it as a simple number sequence, the number 27 is left as the odd duck, and possible a red flag.

Beginning with 3 then 3+3=6, 3+6=9, 6+9 = 15. Although that leaves us, as I said with 27 being the odd duck out as it should be 24. Someone mentioned a Fibinacci Sequence earlier which is precidely what this system would be(albeit not beginning with one as is common). I think that would make this series more possible than simply looking at them all as multiples of 3. It is just a cursory look at the moment, but Fibonacci Numbers lead to a spiral, the second row could refer to peak points of ascent and descent of that spiral. I would have to sit and crunch the numbers a bit to be certain.

To break it down, I think the Way into the Doleful City is a map of sorts, a logarithmic spiral meant to be applied to a grid determined by a cipher. I think a Long Walk is a representation of that spiral, and that Simple and Direct may be the key for the cipher. If this is so, I am going to posit the Worker's Tale is ciphertext.

I am typically pretty fair with ciphers but it will be a bit before I can start running any tests to confirm what is, at this moment, just a hunch. But I feel fairly strongly about this hunch.

Yeah, I'm confident that Jagoda is the "duke" referred to in the video and booklet. I just can't figure out the significance of his "dukedom". And this Voltaire thing(probably not *the* Voltaire of antiquity) must be quite important if everyone listens to it's advice, i.e, Jagoda opening the museum center. Kinda seems like machines(assuming that is what Voltaire is) are controlling the city, doesn't it?

Response to new posts: Cool, so it would seem that Jagoda is now a character to correspond with? Nice. Wink

Jagoda is Jagoda

That's the name of the actor in the video.

Re: Jagoda is Jagoda

The Worker's Tale reminds me of this nursery rhyme:
Quote:

Sing a song of sixpence a pocket full of rye,
Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie.
When the pie was opened the birds began to sing,
Oh wasn't that a dainty dish to set before the king?
The king was in his counting house counting out his money,
The queen was in the parlour eating bread and honey
The maid was in the garden hanging out the clothes,
When down came a blackbird and pecked off her nose!

I just remember it cos the last line used to freak me out when I was a kid. Sad

The Duke

I don't think who the Duke is is that important. There's a confused cultural history... obviously they've been reading some Voltaire and find it interesting or important. I don't think there's a Duke in Milwaukee.

But of course I could be really wrong.
