That might not be too far fetched. Look at the drawing during the credits that has Jagoda in it.

Some shadowy thing (a fragment?) comes in to view, Jagoda vanquishes it, Jagoda continues eating.

the Jagoda in the bottom panel looks just like the background on ChuckDideEate's twitter page.

more 2010...

I like that as a relation to our own time, but the problem is that they don't use our dating system...

ACT 12 is equal to our 2010. What's that in DOR?

nice 2010 analogy. anyone in NY feel like hitting this place up? seems like a drop zone.

btw: we know nothing past ACT 10, which is the current publication date. anything further is sheer speculation. in fact, relating the current calendar is sketchy at best...

(look at the provided map)...

What is Chucking brandishing in the picture? I can't tell. Is it whatever he is eating?

Oh, it's a connoli. Maybe the fragments have a problem with those.

no. afaik on this business.

calling won't do, my friend. this location was discussed previously. the sign was altered in photoshop if i'm not mistaken.
that being said, the 2010 is not to be ignored. this is not a part of the real sign. i think this is another "drop zone"

just my thoughts...

Here's what we gotta do:

Someone in NYC go to this place and take a picture of the sign and the area around it. Then go in and start asking polite questions to the employees inside.

how's that?

Is it worth going to the address at 7611 W Wabash Suite 1 in Milwaukee, looking around, getting pix, etc (being that the actual setting is NYC)? Has anyone done so?

TRO 365?
and what of "careless oversights"?

No, and No. That Wabash address was associated with the coincidental Global Black Star Trading Co. of Milwaukee run IRL by Tod Sims, who seemed clueless about the game when contacted, so we had concluded Mr. Sims and his company are OOG.

The number 2010 does show up in the chart on p.26 of M:ARH, and I wonder if "Leo" could correspond somehow to Russo or Joey's vague dissembling about fragments being something like a "lion".

So the 300 Troubles may be 300 days? Europe (or at least London) is gone? What was Go.D.S.E.E.D. an attempt to solve?

Y'know, I was thinking that myself -- that TRO dates are days in the year DOR 0 = ACT 9 (The Wichita Connection). For all we know, there may actually be dates up to TRO 365, as 300 seemed an implausibly round number for Go.D.S.E.E.D. fragment Troubles; calling that year "The 300 Troubles" may be a figure of speech referring to the 300-odd days of the Year of Troubles. There may not have been Trouble every single day, but if there was Trouble on most days, then "300 Troubles" seems like a reasonable colloquial guesstimate. We don't know what happens after ACT 10 because that's the future, which hasn't happened yet for them, nor for us; the game is afoot in realtime, right now, live and direct... it's just that all the action is happening in an Alternate Reality. Wink

I almost wonder if they really are making much of this up as they go along, with just a few ground rules to go by and a general story arc in mind, a few guideposts with the links from one to the next left open for improvisation, maybe even taking cues from the clues we think we've found. I love the way this whole thing seems so sketchily-managed like an utter fustercluck, as if they're stretched so thin and kept constantly on the brink just conducting their own daily affairs that pulling off a Milwaukee residency recruitment drive is a dicey proposition at best. It's like they have to keep constantly moving and on the ball, or they become like the stationery [sic!] Chateau under siege. I tend to wonder if "careless oversights" (cf. p.40 of M:ARH) will provide many/most of the keys to crack this thing? Perhaps we should be looking more specifically for "what's wrong with this picture" in everything we're given? Isn't that what drew us in at first -- everything we found so bizarrely, increasingly "wrong" with what seemed to start out as a simple, banal tourism promo vid?

Jeez. I miss a few hours, and it's so hard to catch up...

Two things that are bothering me about the inside cover and the dates. Well, not the dates, specifically...

Why are there 2 Blackstar mergers? Mergers with what? US Government could be one of them, either pre-Godseed (to get the whole thing started), or post-apocalypse (to clean up the mess)...but then, what's the other one?

Also, at TRO 132, "Ethra killed in Peoria Siege" - Why choose the word "siege"? It's technically a military action. From what we know of Godseed fragments, they don't act in any organized or concerted way, so they're incapable of warfare... I'm going to assume (i don't know why I do this...) that normal citizens were holed up in Peoria for some reason... So, first, who is Ethra? If he/she is on the citizen's side, who was laying siege to Peoria? Blackstar? If not, why is it significant that he/she is dead?

The whole book, we have to remember, the first video, and the whole scheme to a point, is Blackstar propaganda. That's evidenced by the "recording" of phone calls, and the reasons why no one who called could get any firm answers about Blackstar et al. They are effectively the government at this point.

So, which side is Ethra on, and why does Blackstar care that he/she died that year?

So, Jagoda is able to kill the frags? That would be something. If that is the case though, why don't they just send him out to kill them all and be done with it? Perhaps they pay him in food not to do it? Or maybe he is the catalyst behind all this and it is in his own interest not to kill them. Could he be the GODSEED? Thoughts anyone?

Also, you might be interested to know that I have the instrumental music from the beginning and the Bubblegum Millennium music from the end of the TIMM video as ringtones on my cell! Now I can take TIMM with me, wherever I go! Wink

LoL, for all we know, it's his constant food consumption that makes him a fragment-killer. Behold the Cannoli of doom.

I bet he's burping in its face, and the fragment is like "NOOOOOO BAD BREATH MY ONLY WEAKNESS ARRRGRGRGGRGG!!!"

I think they are one and the same merger, so DOR 4 = ACT 5; the last 8 or 10 years (depending on whether you count 0s or not Wink ) of one coincide with the first 8-10 years of the other.

That reinforces my conjecture that we'll learn more from the "careless oversights", the slip-ups and mistakes, than we will from the overt face-value messages.
