Okay emailed the D:

D,

We've made contact with the Lopez Family... A few of us have posted in attempts to gain their trust; however it seems they're probably offline at this point in time, so making actual "contact" with them, may have to wait.

Just filling you in, on steps taken so far,

I don't know if this matters or not, but the dates on the Florida photos are wrong, and there is a text popup on one of the photos that does refer to having wrong dates and needing to figure out how to fix the camera.

Also, the Disney castle is pink and I don't think it is pink this year. The color changes every year and on the disney site this years castle looks white and blue, but don't have any pictures so don't know.

That's probably just an OOG Oversight... But as Dposse always says; never take anything for granted.

They also said something about the "bad guys" winning. Mafia maybe? Or a clan of vampires taking over the town? I like that one, I'm running with it.

as i recall the detective said that we should approach them as a concerned citizen.

Um.....I was the one who stated it was an enigma code and I was the one who gave the way to solve it.

But yea.

I haven't been following this, so off hand I don't know which pictures you are referring to. Link, please?

The Disney World castle has been pink on several occasions. I believe 2-3 years ago it was painted pink. And approximately ten years ago it was decorated as a birthday cake (pink w/ frosting, candles, etc...). I know that for a fact because I was Best Man in a wedding right in front of it.

This year it is definitely not pink; I was there less than a week ago.

ETA: OK, I see the Facebook page now.

Pic #1: I don't know, something about it just looks wrong. Almost looks like a miniature.

Pic #2: I can't think of anywhere on Disney property where you can see a flamingo. Honestly, I can't think of *anywhere* north of Palm Beach where you can.

Pic #3: Not sure, but I'd venture to guess it's taken at the stage in front of the American Experience at Epcot Center. I vaguely remember them doing Riverdance at some point, but can't place the date.

Pic #4: Looks right for the date. FWIW, it's been renamed to Disney's Hollywood Studios as of 2006.

Pic #5: I remember this parade. Also fairly accurate for the time frame.

Pic #6: That's the Wilderness Lodge swimming pool.

ETA #2: One of the photo albums was created September 12th. This profile's been around for a while... we talking about the right people here?

Yup. That's about how far The Detective's blog goes back to as well. The PM was just thorough on his character back story.

I had received the initial email but just got around to being able to check them out. My schedule is kinda chaotic right now but I'm jumping in (hoping its not too late) and will try to stay on date on this one.

Anyway will help in any way I can and hoping to help solve some of these cases Wink
