Well after the normal travel problems that you get on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, I am back in Portland. While I was gone I kept up to date on everything through the secure connection on the TINAGPD website. Jean Paul may let us go home from time to time, but we NEVER have a day OFF.

Actually it was very nice to go home for the holiday. It seems as though the crimanls in Portland spent time with their families as well. Nothing significant happened over the last week. "Chatter" is still on the rise and I still believe that something big is coming. I just hope I can figure out what it is in time.

Maybe that is implying that Tomas is involved with crime in some way?

Yeah it just doesn't match up for me with the whole Florida trip. Something fishy is going on there.

Oh your thinking the FL trip was business. Hmm, we'd need to see if anything took place on that day around there (Orlando) that we can connect him to.

Yeah thats a good idea, I'm just thinking that somehow the money used in that trip might have been "dirty". On the facebook it was said that Tomas was talked to by the police, it seems that he did not give anybody away for the crime that was commited. Is this because he has a affiliation or is it just out of fear?

 		Perhaps Tomas knew about the "Big Deal" that Antonio mentioned and decided that getting out of town around that time would provide safety and cover for his family?

Could be, but in real life (from what I've gathered), citizens often don't trust cops first of all, secondly they are more scared of the criminals, thirdly a lot of times the criminals do something good for the community, like protect them from other criminals, and so the citizens often overlook most crimes, like extorting the residents. Until something really bad happens and then the cops can finally convince the citizens to help them, they side with the 'bad guys'.

 		I guess it depends on the area you're in. Where I am, the majority of people trust the police (from what I can tell) and help when they can. We don't really have organized crime though (which is what this seems to be? I seem to remember skim-reading something about them becoming organized on tinagpd.com or their blog).
