Agent Lu, just an idea but you could try a little flattery and let her know you're aware of how busy and important she is, but she's uniquely qualified to provide guidance on an issue of national importance. You could say you'd understand if she prefers to stay in the background rather than have a prominent role in a high profile case.

New post from the detective:
Translates to this:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
My sources indicate the sale of the epsilon code is occurring soon.
I haven't heard from you in some time. Have you managed to learn anything yet? I fear we have only a handful of days left before the code is sold and the tinagpd system is compromised. If that happens, everything they have accomplished will be in jeopardy. My most immediate concern is for the lives of the Lopez family. Their location is contained within the system. My sources cannot move them without alerting the mole. Please hurry. Contact me with any info you gain.
Sounds pretty serious you guys...

I don't think any of us really know what to ask in order to find out who the dirty cop is.

Maybe the next step would be to ask if any of them are looking to make any money? That might narrow down who's the likely suspect.

I don't think Jennifer is interested in money. I've already offered her $250,000. Maybe that means she is an honest cop.
It might work for one of the others though.

As Andrea herself mentions there's an "unheard of" Sunday Entry at TINAGPD Weblog . Umm....
My only SPEC regards a motive for Jean Paul selling the Episilon Code as greed for power rather than personal financial gain. With the departure of Jenn Lu and coded info in criminal hands, Jean Paul might receive a large discretionary fund from his bureaucratic associates to hire new experts, cyber or otherwise.

Hey does anybody want to give jean paul a shot? Due to the hectic holidays I haven't been able to sit down and come up with a good plan to get info out of him, and I apologize for that.

Double post due to at this email reply from Andrea
Quote:
The Charity Auction will be held in a black Tie Gala AT TINAGPD HQ on
Boxing Day. There are many items that will be Auctioned off. A vest that
saved the life of Jean Paul, A '78 Firebird that was confiscated from a
drug runner, TINAGPD Sweatshirts and mugs. Things like that.
However reading between the lines I think you may be more interested in
what I am selling. It is actually only a single item and it will go to the
best offer I receive. If you know what the item is and want to purchase
it, just make me an offer. This E mail is secure ( for now ) If you are
not interested in my personal item or are unsure what I am talking about
don't worry. The personal item isn't something everyone would be
interested in anyway.
Andrea
I'm still a tiny bit dubious and prefer to proceed with advice here and this is the portion of my mail to which she is alluding:
Quote:
I'm sure to find something for my husband and boys but, more important, a real G-Gal treasure for my daughter. Nancy Drew and her decoder ring are absolutely her Alpha and Omega! For something of the highest catagory--well, that's what trust funds are for I think. I'm wagering this project has personal meaning for you and hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you...Gina
Should I hand this to the Detective or is it too flimsy? Should I mail her back making an outrageous offer? Something else?
