Mike just called me. I sent a text message, and apparently he wanted to talk instead. My phone at low power, so I couldn't talk much, but he said send an email to his address and he'd e happy to answer anything. I assume this means texting is an option, but not the preferred way to do things.

I had another great call with Russo. Listen to this, it will blow your mind.

He said he used to live in what was once known as New York City, in what was once known as the Lower East Side. There's a lot of stuff in there. I'm uploading my first call, then I'm going to upload two others. Alright.

EDIT: Terry Nanny could survive G.O.d.S.E.E.D?

He's the narrator for the video! We need to get in contact with Terry.

Just had a freaking amazing call with Russo.

I asked him about treasure hunting and found out the following:

The Treasure Hunters starting moving in in about ACT 4 or 5, and have a community near the north gate. Russo says it's because it has good rail access to Duluth.

There are laws against treasure hunting, but they're seldom enforced.

He says that there are lots of riches in the labyrinthine caverns below the city, as well as in caves, warehouses, etc. He said most of the riches are gone, but there's "still enough to make a living."

The Go.D.S.E.E.D. is in catacombs, which are well guarded. "Please, don't wake the Go.D.S.E.E.D.", he said. He said that you'd need to be at least powerlevel 20 to be able to survive the Go.D.S.E.E.D. catacombs.

I asked him who he though would be able to do it, and he said "Voltaire, Terry Nanny surely could do it, the Mayors League, or any of the heroes from the Troubles."

He mentioned that Blackstar has "power cannons" around the city which are set up to keep the fragments under control.

He said that a Blackstar website is coming soon, because the old one was destroyed in a G.S. attack. When I asked for a contact for Blackstar, he referred me to the lipps.leroux email address that we already have. Apparently, she's the official contact for Blackstar.

I asked him where I could get a good rebreather and flare gun, and he said, "well, just between you and me, there's a FeBrizio's in the northern part of the canning district. Tell them that I sent you, and they'll get you everything you need."

very cool!! great job. so, now we know more. I guess they are really going with the whole RPG-type thing. and Lipps is a member of blackstar? we should try contacting lipps and ask about blackstar.

Nice Job Clocks...
If you can, get to transcribing the calls while they're fresh in your mind. That way, you'll be able to remember what was said if any part of the recording isn't clear. Very Happy

For sure, dp. Lipps is Blackstar's communications director, aka, propaganda mouthpiece. We'll get some nicely sanitized (but revealing) info from her, i'm sure.

Don't worry about that, both of my recordings are very clear. I can understand every word. However my friend Conrad's recording isn't so clear so he's transcribing it.

Propaganda is better then nothing. I bet we can read between the lines.

What does Mike sound like?

I mean, does it sound like he's been fired? I can't think of any other reason he'd suddenly be so open. And, if that's the case, is it possible that BlackStar will take him away (like Jessica's dad) or something?

And about Terry Nanny: if he can take on a GSFrag, maybe the beam he shot from his hands at they very end of the credits means something?

Mike had a bit of a breakdown last week. I think he's being more "open" because he's pissed off at being a punching bag of the higher ups and the "mistakes" that have happened, like the book being sent out too soon. Mike's bitter.

We got two more recordings. One isn't really functional to listen to but we can salvage some transcripts and the other one is perfect. You can hear it great.
