Just got an email from MTC:

Hi friends,

Just FYI, this is definitely worthy of a new thread. Could amount to a lot of discussion.

We've moved on rather significantly from this, but I know some people wanted to hear the MTC outgoing voicemail message to try and work out what the Chinese phrase was. Here's a recording:

I cleaned it up and I also made a seperate mp3 of just the section with the Chinese(?) words. The words sound like "Shed why om may". I'm going to send the file to a friend who speaks Chinese but for all I know its Cantonese or Mandarin or Klingon for that matter. Hope this helps.

Cleaned:

I just listened to the cleaned up version - thanks for posting it!

I think what they say is French - Je dois y aller - I must go there.

Contextually I supppose it even makes sense Smile

You're most welcome Smile So then she'd be saying: 'I must go there, good luck!' ?

Hmmm

It really sounded to me like it was all French, but I could be wrong! French with an American accent .... well, it's different! Wink

What about a separate thread for the job postings? Because, I really want to send an application in, but I have to figure out DOR time and stuff and I want it to be realistic in the TIMM world. I wonder if anyone emailed a resume or a basketball-holding photo?

I submitted a resume. Based on the pdf being dated Act 10 December 11 and the job availabilities being for Act 10/11, I figure 2008 = 10, 2009= 11, 2007 = 9 etc

I just found this. Posted by Mike Lewis on December 8. Not sure if it's been posted, and it's not much.

It's not much, you're right, but Terry Nanny continues to prove a source of amusement.

Nim

Hopefully this is the right thread for this - but back a few weeks when I first encountered TIMM - I fired off an email to someone on the www.nimprojects.com website.
I just got a reply...!? I'm sure it doesn't mean much- but here it is:
