how do you know it's all hosted by serverbeach. Yes, I went to severbeach.com and saw a lot of similarities (red hat logo) but no ush. Where in any of the USH websites is serverbeach linked with this ARG.

Server beach is out of game, they are the ones hosting the servers that this game resides on.

Hmmmm..

The one thing that is bugging me that is making me not completely shut this out is the fact that the one guy is named "Firewall" which fits perfect with that one picture...

That alone is enough for me to not remove it from the evidence.

Texel and Caesar have the same id's in the first and second chats:
"_________@3fd056b1.f4f1334.marzconsulting.com"

Aurora also has a similar id in the second chat.

In the first chat, Caesar provided "real" information about files on the aquapolis server when chastizing Cloak for breaking into his server.

The "characters" Einstein, Sever, and Aurelius have the same web id's:
SpiritNetSPLAT3223f75b.354f3b3c.spirit.nom.br

Texel and Caesar "interact" with Einstein, Sever, Aurelius, and Aurora but ignore all other posts in the chat room by other users.

There is one exception where Name asked "Any new news?" and Caesar said "Hey name, have you seen the databases." All other IRC users appeared to be ignored during this session.

Both IRC Chats are looking VERY legitimate and part of the game IMO.

80 N 16 W is Iceland... I remember that there was a game of thematrix.com (the one that you play with nabuchednezzar, and was just available for a few days) in which a member from TLFC and MFN gave a hint that we should look for a bottle of coke at Iceland...

Aftwork

If this is a legit "in game chat" then Aftwork might refer to Beth's after work hobby project called www.little-boxes.net. They do talk about checking out the archives....

I'll make 2 observations here:

The chat includes, as far as I can tell, one girl - Aurora. However, the files that we got today would suggest that a (the? don't know how many there could be) girl's name should be Silvia.

This guy Sever - his name (unless it's missplelled "server" Wink ) means "north" in Russian, and they are making references to north in the chat.

Given that "they" know that we doubt the legitimacy of the information obtained from iirc, would they really post it there? About an hour (or was it 2?) after this "conversation" began, they gave us a REAL clue - the new image. So, I would tend to disregard stuff on chat etc. unless it provides real clues (like the graffle file) in favor of means of communication that we know are legit.

My thoughts exactly. I had hoped that they would have given us a hint in someway though... for example through the "Silvia"-files, to let us know these IRC visits where (il)legit... they could have made a reference to it in the "chat" through the txt files...

They gave us a hint that it was legitimate by the following:

texel: "64 was mentioning extra heat"
aurelius: "only throught cunningham"
aurora: "I told him to upgrade the firewall, texel"
einstein: "yes, cunningham"
caesar: "hey! did you see 64's hair at the meet&greet last night"

My proof/speculation of why the IRC2 is legit:

Beth admits to getting caught by Katherine Cunningham while looking at files in Marcus Ormonds office while the meet and greet is either started or about to start....see email to Phillip in his Metadex account. As far as I can tell Phillips email was updated several hours after this chat.
