I'll take what Merago has posted so far and take in only this much further:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
FIRE MADE THE 2ND.
ENGLANDS GLORY STARTS HERE.
##2# IS THE PLACE WHILE #### TAKES YOU THERE.
BETWEEN 1 AND 2 AT ## AND ##.
I think what remains are all numerals, and I do not understand the cipher enough to extrapolate them.

Re: jumpin on the "don't" know if it helps" bandwagon
OK, forgive me, but I may not know much about the Isis... but doesn't this mean we're doing someone's dirty work and getting them a prize or something?
If that is the case, I *really* do not appreciate this faux PM breaking terms of service and saying we're going to "die soon" unless we get him his prize.

Yeah, I'd decided myself after my last post that I'd done enough anyway and wasn't going to look into this any further for little to no thanks.

Thanks for the compliment, but to be honest large chunks of it were guess-work and luck that some of my guesses stuck. This wiki entry has a pretty good explanation on the method I used, frequency analysis:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frequency_analysis

Thanks Merago.
I agree. If this is an ARG we need more. If it isn't then One/Sgrooms needs to talk to us. End of story.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Hear us Sam Grooms?
What is this for?

Also, if this is an ARG, then the PM should not be posting in this thread - 1 post to start the trail is allowed according to the TOS, after that - hands off please!

WARNING!! This is indeed a scam!! the isis adventure is a separate ARG community. The Isis is a handcrafted british puzzle worth around 300 dollars. Every month, another puzzle is hidden somewhere in the world. Clues are posted in order to find the puzzles. As you can see from this website, http://isisadventure.com/start/free-clue.php?id=268
this code is the clue to one of the puzzles. By posting your hard work here, you are only doing this guys work for him. He has posted the clue here and expected us to solve it for him.
I know this because I have been working on this code myself and saw that it had been posted here. I had to make an account and warn you so that you would not waste your time on this.
But check out the Isis Adventure. It is a really cool arg with a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Wow, thank you for warning us! Plus I always like finding out about other ARG communities.
Sam Grooms, you suck.
EDIT: Wait.. unless you are Mr. Sam. In which case you could have just said you're sorry. We're not a mean people.

I was sitting in a mibbit channel and all of a sudden somebody with the screenname "THREE" pops into the chat channel and says
"And so you have found my efforts to stop your organization Mr. Cyphertext. Don't believe this man, He is the scammer. He is only trying to solve the puzzle for himself. His real name is Jack Allede, he works for the ones who want to eliminate the number community.
Do not listen to him."
Can this be related to this?

I personally vote for an admin to lock this thread because it bears no significance.. and if it does, it should be moved to timewasters

There is a thread for the Isis somewhere. I read through it one day while I was bored. Looks like a cool puzzle. But yeah this thread should be locked.

I'm all for locking this thread. As I said, I wasn't planning on wasting any more time looking at the code anyway. I think, also, we should keep our eyes open for any other clues posted here to make sure they don't relate to Isis, otherwise we could end up solving all the tricky puzzles for the Isis community, in the mistaken belief that they're a trailhead.
And, I note there has still been no "thank you" from the OP.
