 		Got into my mail. Got one in the inbox and one in the trash. Don't know how to link up the mail (since this is the first time I have actually gotten swag) to you guys so as soon as I do I will tell you. Basically, they said that they gave me the wrong address for Mr. Caszinski (its 9400) and not to use such high explosives.

The best part is the one in the trash.

Um. Creepy. Trying to figure out how to approach this - all I can think of is the middle school "My friend really likes you but he doesn't really want to tell you" approach, but 1.) I like to think I've grown past that stage and 2.) the creepy wording makes me think that some imposter is running her facebook, and probably wouldn't take that as a suitable answer. But for lack of a better idea, I might try that one come morning, give the ol' subconscious a night to put it on a slow boil.

I got the same thing, jelloarm, and I also thought it was a little creepy. The grammar is way too formal to be an 18-year old girl. Clearly someone is monitoring her account.

I went ahead and replied with something like:

I'm a friend of Gibson Case. We're working on a project together and he said you might be able to help.

I'm not sure if the vague wording and the name dropping will help or hurt, but I figure if it doesn't work for me, someone should try another approach and see what happens..

Inspired by "V", one thing i've been trying is to "hack" the site. Unlocked some of the locked login forms but none of the username/password combos work. I've been through all the source code, and apart from comments from "V" nothing seems out of the ordinary.

I've tried logging in to the mail system, and then visiting the pages that end up redirected to the 501 page on the site, while still logged in, no luck. (for the record, a 501 error with a web server generally means "Not Implemented" or "The server does not support the functionality required to fulfill the request."...are we being laughed at??)

I just sent of an email to Joan Wilder, posing as Michael Loncaster, a lawyer representing a client wanting the services of deceptech...maybe we can get a client login of our very own Very Happy

The only other thing i can think of that i'm not sure we've tried yet, is "baiting" V somehow to see if we can get him to open it up for us...
