Just because I don't think anyone's posted this up yet, here are the numbers converted to binary from Hex, off of the blog. In my opinion it is Hex....just the look of it...but I can't seem to translate anything...maybe it's a code we need to gain access to something?

139 239 160

Notice the repetitions? I have no idea, though...

Click on the pdf link and it goes to http://filesys.deceptech.com/.
Looks like the firewalls, except that the fields are open and it says "Access restricted to DecepTech employees ONLY!"
Tried all the current logins, but everything returns invalid.

Comment in the source code says
Quote:
Active communications relay: http://yavin.deceptech.com/

Yavin looks the same as the other firewalls, no comments in the source.

Hackers Unite

I mentioned in a previous post that i thought that maybe one way to move forward was to "hack" the deceptech site. despite my awesome kickin hacking skills(limited primarily to "grease monkey") i was unable to penetrate the sophisticated firewalls of our enemy *cue dramatic music* so i rolled over and asked for help form The GibMeister....

Hey,

Man, I need some help. I met Jen a few years back and although we aren't "best buds", i'm still worried. We ran into each other a few months ago, and she told me to look her up on facebook. When i finally got around to looking her up...lets just say that the reply to the friend request i got from her...made me think it wasn't her...i think there may be a way to get access to some information about what's going on, but i don't know how to get it. Considering your expertise in the area of technical security, i thought maybe you could help.

Hit me back when you can, bro.

I just got this feeling that we gonna have to get the info we need by force

Gibson sent out a Twitter this afternoon with a link to his website:

http://www.brainclouds.net/Gibson/20090313/Call-to-Arms.aspx

He's asking people to sign up for the cause, so I went ahead and left a comment to let him know I'm in.

Looks like the hex-to-binary idea might have been the key! Very cool!

Nice find Toasty.

But 17+ firewalls? Oookay. Any ideas?

Fly By Night Inc? Wow, that sure doesn't sound suspicious. Razz

Plus, it makes you wonder; Deceptech has all of these great programmers and engineers and none of them can make a website?

EDIT:

Emailed a generic question about the website launch to FBNI, autoresponder:

Quote:
Thank you for contacting Fly By Night - your #1 source for all your modern day website design needs.

We appreciate your interest, and one of our many sales representatives will get back to you as soon as possible.

Once again, thank you for visiting Fly By Night!
