What I get from that is y'all that friended Gibson may be targeted by DecepTech pretty quickly. I'd send him a mail directly NOT through Facebook and warn him.

Also, anyone got any ideas what to do about the second part of the cryptogram? My brain hurts because its not six letter servers. And I don't think it has anything to do with the LOCK puzzle because there are 8 tiles to move around. And we have thirty five servers not thirty two. Any ideas?

Maybe the six... is referring to the "original" six...
From the wiki notes:

Quote:
DecepTech adds a cycling encrypted message consisting of hacker/sci-fi quotes, and status updates of 6 sci-fi planets.

**nevermind... I counted eight??

New Email from Jill:

DecepTech Network Security (NetSec)

We here at DecepTech Industries take the security of our internal network very seriously.

Due to the proliferation of what are supposed to be secure usernames and passwords to some of the more sensitive corporate firewalls, as well as non-discrete visibility of our current security keys, we are instituting a new means to ensure the safety of the network framework.

From now on, no single individual outside of network operations will be able to access firewall services.

We will randomly distribute multi-color transparencies, each transparency to contain a portion of the necessary security information. You will also, under separate cover, be notified of the other personnel in your department who have similar but different multi-color transparencies.

In order to determine the necessary access code, please place the first transparency layer on top of the patented "Reveal-It (tm)" imaging platform. Your immediate superior will then put theirs, and the process will continue up the chain of command until the necessary layers are in place to make the security information visible.

This ensures not only that one single individual is unable to access the systems themselves, but through the interaction with one's direct superiors it is apparent who is seeking the necessary security information. Then, if a potential security threat is uncovered, there are numerous individuals who can identify the culprit.

Plus, as an added bonus, we feel that this method will further strengthen team unity amongst the operating groups due to the interaction.

Network Operations personnel will be going to all departments within the next 48 hours to recover the inadequate and now obsolete RSA SecureID units for destruction.

We also find it necessary to mention that the "Reveal-It (tm)" imaging platforms were created by our manufacturing division and are being used on the field for the first time. Please take great care in using them, as the current ones being distributed are, in all practical sense, prototypes and are estimate to be worth $85,250 each.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Also, sent an email to Gil/Gib through our gmail accounts, warning him of his tail.

Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, be careful. As of 6 PM yesterday, you're being watched. And these guys are not known for being nice.

When I tried to get you that position, hoping to get you on the inside, I got this in response "I am already aware of Gilbert. Ground surveillance will be in place by 0600." Got that yesterday.

Now, don't make it obvious that you know. And don't go doing anything stupid, ok? Let me know if you need any help.

As for the ID tag, I'm attaching the best scan below. I seriously need better technology Razz Let me know if it helps. If not, I can try a new scan.

EDIT: Jello, you sure it was exactly the same, cause according to the email they're supposed to go together, so maybe there's a slight difference that can help?

vawood>> It's:
Net Class: Calliope, Lvl 1A

The one I got was identical to that posted. Did a copy > fade paste just to be positive. So we wait, I guess.

Vawood: Same thing, I did a side-by-side. So now we wait...? Or what else could we be missing?

I got the same email, same design.
37 tiles have chevrons in it out of 256 tiles. To fill them all, we might need another 6 or 7 cards.

The new chevron attachment looks like the Sukoku from hell.

Will she send out other cards to other parts of the company?

Pancito >> Thanks! I know earlier someone said it was Calliope, 1B, but I thought maybe they got it mixed up with someone else's, since my pictures were so fuzzy and such. Thanks for checking for me again Smile

Jelloarm>> Darn. i was hoping for at least ONE extra clue, you know?

I feel like we're missing something somewhere.

Checked facebook and email, nothing new. Nothing new on Gibson's blog, either.
