Augh! Poor Chuck! I feel so bad for him. I hope he makes it through the rest of the day without encountering any more banana peels or banana-peel-shaped objects.

If this is old news please bare with me. I rarely get time to check the forums anymore because I'm almost always at the doctors.

It sort of seems like between Lipps, Mars and Chucks tweets/facebook status updates they are having a LOT of bad luck this Friday (maybe this was supposed to take place last Friday the 13th?). I don't know if it's significant or not, just throwin it out there.

On an unrelated note, I miss TIMM and I miss you guys! I hope to be well enough to participate again soon and I'm glad to see the period of stagnation has ended (hopefully).

Edit: Posted this before I saw the new post about the CDF dismantling. Now I'm reminded very much of LOST mixed with a bit of The Matrix. Seems like opening it set of a nasty chain of events (which are still awfully 'Friday the 13th' in nature). Finally TIMM is interesting again.

new tweet from Chuck

Quote:
ChuckDideEate Rumors of bad luck and catastrophe are sweeping Milwaukee. I must once again don my detective's cap and get to the heart of this matter.

A call to action, eh? Did Relia ever try getting to the super-innards of the Fund?

Are there other hearts around that we can get to? Smile

Yeah. Hee.

Ummmmm, we're a buncha gumheads or something. Something's gummed up the works. Someone's been chewing on his brains like they're gum.

Ummmmm.

This is either one of three things;

1) Chuck is very delicately trying to imply that there is, in fact, stuff inside the CDF.

2) Trying to imply something else entirely.

3) The most likely possibility - they're messing with us. ^_^;

So much for Great Detective Jagoda.

He could've been implying I should put the CDF back together.

That's what I got from it. Sticky substances (like glue?) and a sore head (from breaking attempts?) led me to interpret the message as a warning against breaking it.

Just my 2 cents...

I just got added on Twitter by an account called iwantbonuscom. The crappy grammar got my attention, and iwantbonus.com is really terribly designed, with all sorts of overlapping tables and obscured text. It looks like an ARG, but I can't figure out if it relates to TIMM Twittering or not.

If we're going to be detectives, then we should be gumshoes! Smile

Ha, maybe that's the joke, then. He's a gumhat instead of a gumshoe.

Hahahahahahaha. Hee hee.

This sounds awfully like a 'No stupid! Bad idea!'
Ice cubes to cool down hotheadedness.

i agree completely. this is how i read the tweet too. what is the harm in putting the CDF back together and posting a pic, really? see what the citizens think. surely other paths can be taken later if this is your choice, treasure hunter!

personally, as an experienced Ironworker, i seriously doubt there could possibly be anything hidden/ molded within that plastic trophy. ymmv. i could be wrong here, but i tend to think the PMs knew we'd try to disassemble the bird at some point, and were simply waiting to raise hell in return.

cheap time-filler when you think about it.

uh-oh.

if this is true we need a new clue, Chuckles...
