[POLL] The Champion Dynasty Fund's fate

Ever since Relia broke down the Champion Dynasty Fund into pieces and discovered the hidden message on the base, 'Uh-oh', things have been going downhill in Milwaukee. Bad luck is sweeping the city.

Chuck Jagoda seems to be hinting that the relic should be smashed, but it also seems he could just as easily be warning against it.

It's a tough call, so let's see what everyone thinks!

I say wait, mostly because you can't un-smash it.

I just don't make any promises as to when.

I know it must be different for someone who was entrusted with the Fund, but it would be personally satisfying to bust that bad bird open.

What's the big deal? Smash it already.

I'd say if Chuck's detective work doesn't yield anything within, say, a day (so we're sure it was a clue), smash it.

Smash, but gently, so it may be repaired if need be. Like I said in the other thread, it sure does seem like Chuck wants us to get to the "heart" of the matter/turkey...

Can it be carefully cut open right on the seam with a bandsaw? Or maybe even a hacksaw...?

If I can borrow a dremel from a friend, maybe.

If Chuck is donning his detective's cap, I think it's likely that his findings will be of interest to us. I think we should give him some time and see what he turns up.

I believe in Chuck, the man who shatters cinder blocks with his feet.

I think reading his tweets as passive action on our part is possibly going to bite us in the butt, frankly.

There's only one way to get to the heart of the matter...I say we smash it! Whatever happens couldn't be worse than the 300 Troubles...could it?

This is indeed a tough one. I know I would personally have trouble destroying an ARG artifact. I can't even bring myself to exchange the foreign money from Stop the International. But perhaps it might be what they are looking for. I say we wait a bit. If we can gather more information on the paths, maybe we can find an answer without Relia having to smash something so awesome.

I agree... if it doesn't look like it's been taken apart or put together, and there's no fairly blatant "smash it!" directive in-game, then I think it prudent wait, just a bit at least Smile
If the PMs see the hesitation, they'll find a way to make it more obvious that it needs to be destroyed...
