I had called last night and this morning looking to say my fax number (instead of typing it to test potential tone recognition), and got Lewis' voicemail message. No idea when it changed, but likely quite soon after the fax(es) had been sent.

I called this morning out of curiosity, having not called it since it was first discovered and having found out yesterday that the fax we received might be rebel related.

Russo told me two days ago that Lewis would be getting his own number 'in the near future', so it's possible this is a very recent change. In my opinion, this is probably just a re-appropriation of the existing number, not a sign that Lewis himself has rebel connections. Though that's just my opinion... it's not impossible.

I just sent an email to the email address online saying i'm interested in a position and my qualifications... hopefully I get a response!

I applied for the re-seeder position. Hopefully it will lead somewhere. Course, I may have just signed myself up to be a surrogate mother or insemination technician or something equally weird. Guess I'll have some explaining to do when the hubby gets home (from an interview in Milwaukee of all places) lol.

I just got off the phone with Mike Lewis! I asked him about the junior re-seeding position; i don't think i got too much new info, but the main things that stood out were that

1. since it's a junior position, no background is really required (maybe beginning power-level?)
2. re-seeders will definitely be in much more contact with the godseed fragments, as their work mostly happens on the fringes, near the desert, and require intense cleanup in the spa after coming back.
3. i asked him why they only wanted women and he didn't have a ready-to-go answer...he paused for awhile before saying that single-gender teams (the R-s squads) work better, and there are positions for men as well (he mentioned power lifting)
4. he wanted to make sure i didn't have ties to any of the rebel groups in the area...i said i had only heard rumors and left it at that, but i should have pushed that point more i think, he seemed insistent on bringing it up.
5. i said i was from vegas and that is apparently contaminated too, although i thought someone earlier found something that said it was a safe place? it has lake mead so it's near water...

anyway, i wrapped it up because i was starting to stammer, but it sounds like the rebel thing is what they want us to be working out now.
