NY locations I've been keeping track of referenced locations on a google map and it occurred to me that my New York locations are making sort of a line. It may be coincidence since i only have 5 new york locations marked (one of which is a street so it's not really a single point). Let me know if there are other referenced NY locations (and please tell me where they are referenced) and I'll add 'em.

Nope, not even parallel to the roads.

I had been assuming the an was part of "Jan" or "January", as in an indication of the date, though at this point either could be right.

I haven't looked at this map as closely as you guys but I wondered:
1. Could the 2010 item have something to do with that other location Leo's Hair 2010?
2. Could the exclamation point be marking the statue that is across from the Frick? It is a memorial to Richard Morris Hunt. I mention it only because it has a large bench for sitting running around the sides (though hard to see in this photo) and might make a meeting place. http://www.centralpark2000.com/database/hunt.html
3. I can't tell if the star from the overlay has been identified yet. Was it on two of the pieces so we could match them up? I didn't see it on the Bruce's map but it seems to be the large church of St. Ignatius Loyola.

I think it most definitely does. Leo's Hair 2010 actually shows up quite clearly in the 14251612181818198HD video (when he holds up the fennel). Besides the 2010 in the doleful city table, that's the only reference I know of.

How does '!' equate to the statue/meeting place though?

I believe it was only meant for matching up the overlays. I think that's what the Basic Dark Dollar Arrangements was hinting at; that those symbols are used to arrange the overlays. The star only showed up in 2 of the 3 overlays because it was torn off one, but that overlay had the diamond and part of the triangle so it could still be arranged correctly.

I was just pointing out that this large statue/meeting place is right across 5th Ave from the Frick. On the scale of the map, I'm not sure that we can say whether the '!' is on one side or the other of 5th ave.

[url]Besides Leo's Hair, where does "2010" appear?
For what its worth, Leo's Hair 2010 exists.

Also, ive been trying to find some significance of the statue and heres what I found-
The sculpter of the Richard Morris Hunt memorial was Daniel Chester French.
He also sculpted the Lady Wisconsin atop the Wisconsin State Capitol building, and the Chapman Memorial, Forest Home Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
It's all a bit of a stretch, though.

i think most have dismissed the grid as being a part of the overlay map that is taking shape. the grid just does not seem to work as part of the overlay. first, there is no way to align the grid (no alignment markings such as on all other map pieces.) secondly, how do you scale the grid to fit the map and what indicates any orientation? the grid simply does not work in this context, it would appear...
