[Game] [Trailhead] Shadow of the Talon
The game starts here

Djinn Productions is out with a new game. It helps if you're frequent on deviantART.com. Why? Because the game is pretty much based there. So, make an account if you don't have one, subscribe to JadeMacalla.DeviantArt.com, and be extremely clever. They take you all over the place, literally.

The game starts here. The credits are very important. Nemesis-19 basically has only helped by making this one spoof movie poster. The rest is basically found out in the game. The first part of this game is the test, which you'll understand as you go. If you have any questions, I'll give hints, but I won't tell the answers. I'm much further ahead in the game than you all. I'm also on deviantART with the same name I use here on the forums, and I'm a player of the game, not an NPC.

I'll add more as I find things out. For one, I need to know what permissions I have such as how far I can go in detail about certain subjects.

Some disclaimers:

The Calvin from Autumn Country is not related to the DTC project. They just use his name/character for different things. Djinn Productions just wants to have their name out in places, which is why you may see a blur between fiction and reality. AC and DTC are made by Djinn Productions, but fully unrelated to each other. I guess you could say that Djinn Productions likes to throw in their own little easter eggs about themselves for kicks. Valley seems to have his own unique style.

As Jade told me himself:
Quote:
Let's just say that Calvin gets around. Seems like he has his suspicious little fingers in lots of pies...

But no significance to the present diversions, just a funny overlap. Good eye, though Wink

Jade

Also, Jade let me know this is designed mainly for the dA community, as in it won't be that difficult, and designed for those who aren't hardcore ARGers.

Quote:
The only other thing that those guys may want to know is that it IS NOT a full blown ARG. It was designed specifically for the artistic community here at dA (i.e. people who are not generally hard-core ARG'ers) and is therefore very simple (and short) compared to the types of things they are used to. Really, it is more of a visual mystery than any sort of ARG, just a fun diversion for my dA friends.

They are welcome to follow along, of course, but they shouldn't expect too much.

All the best,
Jade

So, while this game will be exciting, it may be too easy for some of you. For me, well, I'm doing well so maybe I should look up other games too, even though I'm not hardcore, haha.

The Enclave in AC has a new message (MSG4) so if you can figure that out, go try it.

Nope, but I can tell you it's a private number. I've looked it up on White Pages. There's no map for it either. Jade did say that you can fake stuff on it.

hmm

Well, Jade is a pretty sharp fellow not to mention he is correct.
On a little side note has anyone seen Mr. Samgrass lately? I miss the old fellow. Been ages since we've been graced with him presence. =D
I wonder if RoyalThames is lurking about anywhere as well.

=O

Trying to get a couple steps into the game.. Seeing if 'spoilers' are even appropriate. If they are then I'll be posting my guesses, etc.

If you're a hardcore ARGer, post some guesses but not answers, lol. This is meant to be very easy compared to your typical games from Djinn.

books

There are a lot of users on Libthing that have certain books in their libraries. Very few of them have all the books you are looking for and not much else.
Is it coincidence?
