Email with Eddie Pope re: New York event

here is my email to eddie, sent late last night:

Quote:
Eddie,

Were you in New York? We looked for you but didn't see you. Maybe you were eating pie instead of trudging around in the snow.

Just want to clarify that there is no way that Bryce was the" tarot killer". In fact, there probably is no tarot killer. Bryce was performing rituals trying to bring back his dead friends. He wasn't killing anyone. But someone murdered his dead friends in the first place, and we still don't know who or what killed them. Bryce was in the hospital when most of them died, so he couldn't have done the murders.

And, Bryce made a heroic choice to sacrifice himself to save the world from chaos. He was a sad, creepy and almost tragic figure, but he gave himself up to save everyone else. He deserves to be remembered for that brave act. Maybe you can write about him and what happened in New York.

rose.

Eddie to me, sent this afternoon:

Dear rose,

> It was my good fortune to find your email sitting in my Mailbag today. Was I in NYC? A Journalist like Eddie Pope isn't going to allow a little winter weather get in the way of the story of the century. A lot of hot coffee and pie. Happy to hear I wasn't spotted. You should know I am mister-master of diguise, rose. It is one of the many traits that make me one of hell of an investigative reporter.
>
> May I ask, why you were in New York with Bryce Droher? In fact, let me stop right there. It would be a coup to have an interview with you about your own perspective on everything that went down in the Big Snowy Apple.
>
> Why were you and your friends running around New York with nutty Bryce Droher and Art Lydney?
>
> And what was with the crazy symbols you held up at webcams? Some Sentry secret code? What gives?
>
> You say Bryce Droher sacrificed himself to save the world. What?! I have to agree with your accurate "sad and creepy" description of Bryce, but you will have to fill in some important details for me to understand how this weirdo performing made up rituals at Indian Mounds saved the world.
>
> And what can you tell me about your long ride on the the A train to 190th? Who's the short old bearded guy named Jacob? He sounded all Obi-Wan Kenobi. What is up with the apologies? What did he do to you?
>
> Do you have photographs or video of your little run around with Bryce and Art that you would allow me to share with my readers in an upcoming edition of the Tattles?
>
> As you can see, I have many questions and I am grateful for any answers that you might provide. With your help I just might be able to point the finger at the real killer!
>

> Yours,
> Eddie Pope

and me to eddie: fyi Eddie is a member of the in-game forum Sentry Outpost:

Dear Eddie,

I only participated in a bit of the trip around New York. If you want more information, there is a lot of stuff posted on the Sentry Outpost forum. You can find out who took part in the event by reading the forum.

I'm not sure you got my main point -there was no Tarot Killer.

Take care

rose
