I was daydreaming today and got to thinking: What if Rob & Beth actually survived by being beamed up the USS Enterprise? Rob could have introduced Captain Kirk and the crew to Slusho!, which could have ensured Tagruato's survival after all the scandal and the NY "mishap" with MGP... Future Cloverfield 2 plot, perhaps?

OK, I'm off to my padded room now...

Screwy

Anyone else think this week would be the perfect time for them to give us something?

I haven't been expecting anything for a while, but it would be cool to see things start up again on Friday the 22nd and/or Saturday the 23rd.

You know, with the dates coinciding and all.

Oh yeah.... Very Happy

Longtime lurker here... and I've done a search to see if this has been posted. Couldn't find it, so if I missed an old post I apologize. But I've been wondering about this video for weeks. Is this the next trailhead? Already had a japanese friend translate the title card:

"3 of the part-time job friends were enjoying sea fishing"

Check it out. Once again, sorry if this is totally unrelated/already covered.

When can we say that we have reached the bitter lowest bottom of the barrel? Seriously, I'm, I'm speechless. Wow.

Interesting. From the replies above, I was expecting a lot worse though...like, "2 Girls 1 Cup" worse.

I guess that's why they call it soda "pop"...maybe it had kaitei no mitsu in it.

Somehow, I would find that a bit refreshing (just the first 5 seconds, after that, it's outta there for me) considering that freakish thing. It made clover look like a beautiful puppy. Not in size (duh) but,......whatever, I just can't put in words the creepyness of it...

I found it kinda amusing. It looks like an obvious fake to me. And even if it's not, it's still not anywhere near as bad as a lot of other stuff I've seen...but, then, maybe I'm just too desensitized. At least, even with all the depressing and disgusting stuff I've seen, I'm still able to be such a funny person Wink .

It does seem kinda cool though, how the thing explodes like Marlena did. That's the obvious parallel, and I'd love to think it's Clover-related, but I don't know.

I wish I could say this, but Mr. Hands ruined it for me Sad

lol Mr. Hands. What a guy. He's dead though, and I believe that's called Natural Selection. It would be more disturbing to me if he were still out there doing it (though I'm sure somebody somewhere is), but I'm a fan of providential justice, so it's all good.

Want something even I can't watch all the way through? Check out the "movie" Slaughtered Vomit Dolls. It'll hit you in the special spots, you have the Chrizzy guarantee.

As for the thing-on-the-beach video, it doesn't even come close.

Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers... it just seemed like there were more than a few parallels and it just looks very Clover to me. The thing explodes, like Marlena. The video is on liveleak (weren't a few of the other videos pushed to volume posters on liveleak?). The jumpcuts seem timed too professionally. The CGI work is pretty damn good on the bugs crawling over the rock. I know that there aren't multiple Kanji fonts or anything, but it looks like the same Kanji font that is on the back of the chef's picture on 1-18-08.

I don't know, a bunch of my buddies and I saw it and were all like... Cloverfield Two? So I thought I'd ask.
