Re: Thoth tarot

That other card is the Prince of Swords. Smile As seen on this page http://www.tryskelion.com/prince.htm
I also see the three. But wonder if it could also be a W or M.

It's a good conjectre, though I still believe that Labirynth is the program being developed for the Aquapolis, though after the "accident" at the construction site, I'm led to believe that the Aquapolis' program is already working there...

I believe that the pourpose of that program is indicated by its name... In all the myths the Labirynth is used to trap people, to isolate them from the outer world.

One a side note.. could someone with a good photo editing program take a look at the scribbles on the bottom right corner of the Paranormal Researck Journal logo, on the reight bottom corner of the index page?

Looks like arabic to me, or some wingdings stuff.. Not that the two look alike, but my poor microsoft photo editor coudn't do much...

I'd even say it's more like wingdings. I could see a cross and what looks like a pointing had, but nothing more....

Nice find pierre, I don't think anyones noticed that, though I could be wrong.

It looks to me like a series of lines in sequence
could be code, or the picture might not be high enough resoulution.

Great job Camellia! I looked for spreads on that same page you found the card and I'm convinced that it is the Toth spread... The prince then indicates a man and the queen a woman. The devil and the card right under the moon are related to the central card, the 9 of wands, which refers to the nature of the question asked...

As we have one card frmo swords, one from wands and one from cups at this time, no majority can be confirmed...

Could someone skilled in interpreting the tarot help us? Perhaps we should e-mail the creator of that site and ask for an interpretation...

By the way... Browsing through that site I found out that Beth is the hebrew letter assotiated to the Magus...

Quote:
The Hebrew Letter is Beth, which translates to liouse. There is a touch of the alchemical here once again, for Beth is symbolic of the transformation of what was once considered "magic" into today's "science."

Beth also represents the opposites, Life and Death; another syrnbol of metamorphosis and transformation.

Interesting... the number of the letters in the hebrew alphabet - 22 - is repeated over and over in relation to MLO.

I've looked at this before but can't make out anything. Just to small to make any sense of it.

3 in a moon... 3 moons? Jupiter has three, doesn't it? (or is Jupiter only two, and Pluto is 3?)

Unless it's referring to 3 cycles of the moon, ie, 3 months? Nice spotting... I still haven't had much of a chance to look at this one.

"There are 84 circles of lunations, which correspond to 3 lunar months."

This is part of the pattern of the Chartres labyrinth design. I'm quite sure there's a connection now. Refer to my post about the MLO MetaDex.

One thought about Ormond... Imagine you're at home, registering for the beta test of MetaDex... You will probably be listening to your favourite album, perhaps even your favourite song, in order to relax after a tough day...

They ask you for a password and you aren't that bright when it comes to inventing things like that, since you have trouble configuring your voicemail...

So either you or someone you called to help you with that, (maybe your son/daughter?) choose something that you have at hand to provide a password... What about the numbers on the CD's barcode? Perhaps it's registry numer? Or the name of the guy next to your favourite writer on the cover of the CD...

So, what do you think of that possibility? I did something like that once, so i know at least one person in the world that would do that.. Embarassed Razz

Don't forget that an older person probably has the Album(record), not the cd.

A quote from Book II of the Temple of Solomon that seems appropriate to the game...

Interesting you mention Solomon: he built his temple based on the design of a labyrinth.

One wacky thought: His name can be read Marcus OR Mond... Like in World Controller Mustapha Mond... I tried Mond or Marcus, but it didn't work out...

Is there a marcus in ABNW?

I was at my parents' yesterday and found they had the original record, so I examined it for about an hour, but there's really nothing I could find on it Sad

AFAIK there is no Marcus in BNW, I plowed through the entire online version of BNW, and also through the biographies of all major and minor characters in the novel to see if I could find anything related, but still nothing ... RAH!
