The points were plotted on a map of Ironforge initially which is why it looks like Ironforge.

Last night I was curious about who this 'Ev@$kw8Rr" is that Brian keeps talking about in the NuBuds blog - but was informed by a WoW'er that the name is invalid, since special characters can't be used... was really hoping this was a character in WoW that we (or rather, you WoW players) could talk to...

The large map image with the letters highlighted (2ivi4ug.jpg) gives a positive hit for jphide in stegdetect. The rest of the images that I know of are negative in stegdetect and are not Camouflaged.

ETA - the jphide hit has just a one-star rating, so it could be a false positive.

Ok so i gave in being stubborn about my Mac, and booted into my windows image.

The Image we had at the top of the following post:

The barrens one, I ran it through my app and I used the password "snort" as this was the name of a unique mob in the area.

It gave me this result:
