[OOG] PM's post on Facebook Group (Now Removed) "PLEASE don't just start digging holes in various places" Well, clearly keeping an eye on recent discussions about the idea of heading into Central Park with a shovel, one of the PMs has posted on the TIMM OOG Facebook Group to say PLEASE don't go digging holes in various places . The full comment regarding this point is below (no SERIOUS spoilers, but very OOG):

Since the UF boards prohibit this (and we play by the rules), I'd just like to break silence for one moment and say please please PLEASE don't just start digging holes in various places or otherwise breaking laws + ordinances. We appreciate the enthusiasm (a lot) but we'll be pretty clear about specifics when something needs to be done...
EDIT: The post has now been removed from the group - I'm guessing as the point has been made plain to the community.
Clearly they felt the potential for illegal activity factor was important enough to momentarily pop through the curtain - happily we can now return to the fact that This Is Not A Game...

While I appreciate that they made this absolutely clear... it could very well have been done in game. It's a huge leap to take, given that some of us here at uF have been adamant in telling others NOT to go digging holes. It already seemed to me that common sense was prevailing =/

I wouldn't use a shovel in Central Park anyway. That's what a backhoe is for...

Which brings up an unsettling question. If a player goes out and does something stupid in a viral campaign, to what extent are the PM liable? Even worse, to what extent might WE be liable?

There are two groups (that I know of)- an in-game group, Young Professionals of Milwaukee (started by Lipps Laroux); and an OOG group, This Is My Milwaukee.

Oh, great, NOW they tell me, after I cleared all the stuff out of my backyard and rented a backhoe for the weekend...

It's along the lines of hinting that there might be secret treasure under some guy's lawn, and then being liable for digging on some other guy's lawn, or the first guy's.
