Edit: Anaerin wat smart script are you using or did you make it urself?

It's my very own chunk of VBScript that I wrote myself, in a simple ASP webpage that I'm hosting on my local machine. I can give out the sourcecode, but I'm not putting it live on a machine on the 'net, as I don't want people constantly refreshing it and taking down the TWTWE site.

Good job on finding these pathlocks, ladies and/or gentlemen!

For anyone else who goes looking for other pathlocks, here's a list of those that have been already found:

CDRKNLHAFA

IUZVMYFBQIYL

QMSFMTIZHK

UCMWGWQQFJWS

VQFRYELMKD

The pathlocks give a series of letters to click through the secret maze at http://thewaytheirworldended.com/Q7J8R04J87FFJ983Q2/ . Each leads to a long string of coded text (some of which can be be decoded using base64 (tool). This coded information seems to be the secure data that SYS was referring to in the tweets this week as the pathlocks start with "SWP:CLSFD/ "(Ship Wreck Protocol: Classified). From the little bits that are decoded, it appears to be personal information about the crew on the Lewis & Clark.

Some of the stuff that can be picked out, for example from pathlock IUZVMYFBQIYL after base64 decode :
Sheridan; Age: 28........ogy from.....since father.....ic, often lacking pro...lity to complete her.... ic Analysis; Cond......niversity; Awards: DeMarco Aw...

Whether we have to find a way to decode these long strings or if Essy will help us with them is a mystery to me, too.

Some of those my script didn't find. Does this mean they're even deeper than just the 5 levels I've been going to?

anaerin, I don't know how deep Left-center and halo422mjk went to find the ones that they did. I assumed that your script just didn't get to it yet, but I could be wrong.

Meanwhile, looking at what we have from the decoded pathlock strings, I'm starting to think that the not decoded bits are filler and that we might be able to piece together the "secure data" from what we have.

Here's the decoded information all in one place. I numbered the pathlocks just to facilitate the finds below.

This is what I got from that lot. Only one part is missing (Indicated as "**missing**").

[edit]Actually, looking at that closer, it could be complete, but it seems bad grammar to have "from since" there like that, which is what makes me think something's missing.[/edit]

Good job, anaerin!
I think you used the "y from" twice, once for "(2)ogy from Qikost U".

There is a y before "(2) since father p... " that fits in there nicely.

I know my eyes were glazing over working on this. Smile

eta: We haven't been discussing the goings-on on board the ship. The crew is in a bad way; each confining themselves in different parts of the ship in fear of contracting a virus (real or imagined?). Sheridan especially seems to be in a poor psychological state, almost catatonic from the description on the logs and this history makes me worry for her even more.

My, that was easy. Smile

SITTING IN A COZY/COZY SPOT ON A/A HILL, TRYING/TRYING TO FIND THE/THE EVENING/EVENING STAR RISING/RISING OVER EASTERN/EASTERN SHORES, DREAMING/DREAMING EYES SIMPLY/SIMPLY DREAMED THAT/THAT SHE WAS ABLE/ABLE TO REACH/REACH OUT AND TOUCH THE SHIMMERING/SHIMMERING STARS

(Or, if you don't like the doubled words):

SITTING IN A COZY SPOT ON A HILL, TRYING TO FIND THE EVENING STAR RISING OVER EASTERN SHORES, DREAMING EYES SIMPLY DREAMED THAT SHE WAS ABLE TO REACH OUT AND TOUCH THE SHIMMERING STARS

Though what it means, I'm not sure.
