I just tried sending an email to infoSPLATredadelaide.com and got a bounceback message "No Such User Here". little surprised his email was turned off so fast after his death...

 		Yeah... exactly. I think the guy next to him also appears in some earlier frames, but I don't have the best reflexes....

Not sure if it's relevant. but the Latin phrase that the narrator says @ 0:51 is "umbra sumus" or "we are shadows." part of pulvis et umbra sumus "we are dust and shadows"

By the way, I'll probably take my old phone out tomorrow night, don't want my iPhone stolen while drunk. It'll be charged up and linked to twitter, so I'll be able to text-tweet if anything happens. I'll also take my handicam in case photo/video is needed.

 		First of all, a new message on the Google Group from Thea, subject "Congratulations you are on the next stage of your adventure"

So ontop the event. Since I'll likely write up an article for ARGN about the event, I'll keep this brief and leave you all in suspense Wink
After finding my way to the club (eventually!) and getting there around 9, I found myself waiting with a few other people, I think in the event there were 10 of us in all. We were led in, in silence, by people dressed in what I can only describe as white bodysuits (I did notice the web address http://www.morphsuits.com/ on them but I think that's the OOG site of the manufacturer. Still, you can see what they are there).
After being led in, we were told not to speak, and that we'd be tested... and failure was definitely a possibility. Then we went through a series of tests, which I'll leave to describe in the article, but I'll just say they were definitely... different!
Once we'd completed our tests, there was one final test. One of us was head-dunked into a bucket of water, while the rest of us counted to 5, then removed... then dunked again while we counted to 10, and removed... then again while we counted to 20... only his head wasn't raised at the end of the count! 2 of the people in the bodysuits (both ladies) removed their masks and started to protest loudly at the whole process and forced them to remove the guy from the water, and they got dragged away by some of the others.
After that incident, we were led up some stairs to the table Steve took a picture of. We were congratulated on all passing the tests, to eat fruit and drink champagne and vodka, and we were given papers with various things on them.

Most importantly, we learned a little bit more about Clamamus Pro Aeris. They are looking for someone/something called Artemis, and they need recruits. Lots more recruits. Our final task was to recruit more people, which seems to be an ongoing task.

So go to the google group at http://groups.google.com/group/clamamus-pro-aeris and sign up! Razz Tell them Lex sent you.

ETA: oops, forgot to say what was *on* the paper! there were 3 types - one had several copies of the Clamamus Pro Aeris logo you can see on the google group. One has the word Artemis written over and over. And one has a few copies of a GPS Mission logo, which I quickly googled just now and it led me to this - the logo is definitely that one, so it must refer to this.
