@TRodS - petunia figured out the keyword for the email by googling the other actual text in the email - which took her to lamb.com. 'lamb' was the keyword.

In regards to blog post 'O' - "the key is the password". I did try key btw. But I'm still trying to assimiliate everything that's happened so far. The key to the numbers he gave us? The key to Heidelberg castle? The key to helping Jon?

Sorry - that's not an actual website - you need an IRC client of some sort, like iRC or Trillian.

I know that some people have been able to use www.mibbit.com to connect - but I haven't ever tried.

Go to www.mibbit.com .. click on the "Chat" button on the right.
When it asks what server - click on the Server link next to it. Then enter the 'asteroid.ca.us.leaf.chat-solutions.org' w/o the quotes. Give a username and connect.

Then after it loads a bunch of info, type in - in the chat area "/join #Vampire" - again, without the quotes. That should get you in.

 		ok, revisiting something really quickly.... the "1537" picture. it says that in that year "a lightning-bolt destroyed the upper castle." (per wikipedia)
is that what they wanted us to find? as in the person whom is being dispached caused the "lightning bolt"? or did they want us to find Johann Sylvanus whom the picture is of? Could that be our Jonathan?

:edit: and what type of "ancestry" are they referring too? where he was born or where he was embraced?
