 		That's just what I did...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
converted the symbols to numbers !=1, @=2, etc. Then the numbers converted directly to letters, but using double digits. So 01 = a, 02 = b, etc. That spelled out the message without any other deciphering.

 		Tonight Shrecknet logged back in - shortly after a new post went up. The confusion in the following conversation, is because my AIM account doesn't have the name Wulf in it:

yochanan and I chatted for a few minutes after shrecknet logged off. Mostly just tossing ideas back and forth - but IMO I think we're going to have to wait for a few more postings before we decide whether it's some sort of time-loop as yochanan suggested, or a complete "reset" of all the players. For those interested, here's a copy of our conversation:

[22:22] yochanan: the person on shrecknet says he can't figure out how to contact jon, but we know someone was able to hack his computer to send him messages
[22:23] yochanan: i don't know.. if it is a memory thing, it should only affect jon, I would think. but a time loop would affect everyone.. but of course it can't affect us, so maybe somehow only people related to jon are affected?

 		I'm thinking it's an anagram of some sort. Trying to pick out some words...

Something I noticed, it has all the letters to spell out the translation of the crest (to rule in blood is to rule in truth) but when I take out those letters, it still doesn't help much.

Looks like work is gonna take a backseat today. Very Happy

okay, so I took out the letters from the ventrue motto, and this is what I got:

I can't say that this is correct, especially with the extra letters, but it's too good not to give it a shot, so I posted a suggestion on the blog.

Good catch - and I think you're right. It almost makes too much sense not to be the answer. Well done.
The question is - who is Agent Black? And who exactly is "who?".

 		I think there might be too many letters to feasibly get an anagram, even with the letters from the motto removed.

I'm wondering if the words need to be kept intact while moving, and then broken apart to make a message. For example:

A GENTLE could become AGENT LE... connecting to the next word. The GET HER and TO could become TOGETHER. One thing that jumped out at me was that AUDACITY could become LAUDA CITY if you put it after TOLL or SATCHEL. Lauda is a city in Germany, which has figured into the story earlier. I haven't been able to get much farther than that...
