@yochanan - thanks for the explanation & link about the encryptions... I tried using maxacrypt this morning for the new post(lion technology), but for some reason it won't work on my phone. Maybe not compatible w/ mobile? Anyway, I appreciatte the help.

The myth was about the Greek Goddess Demeter going on a manhunt looking for her daughter Persephone when she was kidnapped. She lit the fires in Mt Aetna and killed all the crops and livestock in Sicily, then threatened to kill everyone in the entire world if someone didn't hand over her daughter.

Sounds like something Sara would do.

Mt Aetna is mostly just a sidenote in the story, but it seemed to come up in several Greek myths when I googled it and browsed through some of the books that came up. It's also sometimes spelled "Etna", if that helps.

What about telling Jonathan to go to Italy when he is sleeping? We haven't done that yet.. could it possibly mean going back to one of the previous posts (i.e. previous time/reality loop) and posting a comment there, when he is sleeping?

Or, are we being told to send him there so that he will get killed?

I thought from what was said in 9 implied that they were already planning on going to Italy, or at least that they were thinking about it.

I guess it doesn't actually say they plan on it though, so maybe posting a message would be a good idea. Would it have to be a previous post, or could it just be one that isn't specifically about Jon?

So we have to rely on a lunatic Malkie eh? Sounds like fun..

So it's not based on "parallel universe junk" - but based on reality. Which means? Time is repeating itself with variations? But the alternate universe makes more sense, remember Beckett's comment about, it "feeling" like Netchurch, but no quite?
Are we sure Netchurch knows the whole truth - or is sane enough to communicate what actually needs to be said?

I suppose until we see/hear differently we have to trust him. But trust him to what? Is he more like a passive relay system? Where we push an email to Netchurch and allow him to get it to Jon, or whomever needs to see it?

I dunno - for me there still too many contradictions in the story, which leave too many questions.

I also found the various myths, but didn't see anything relevant in them. Netchurch replied back to yochanan when he posted on 11 - stating that it wasn't the time to give this information yet.

I was going to try the same tactic as jslice - but you beat me to it on the blog. After I read it tho - it made me think that maybe shouting it out for everyone to read might not be the best idea. I mean, if the "bad guy" is reading the blogs as they most likely are - wouldn't that put Netchurch in danger, as well as endanger the success of what he's trying to accomplish? Especially since we don't know his whole plan - nor how he does what he does.

Just more speculation - that seems to be my strong point with these..

I guess the rest of the characters can see it, at least the ones who have posted. Sara for sure, Porter I think, and also "The Other" whoever that is. Did I miss anyone?

I went ahead and posted it though, because that's what Netchurch wanted. I figure he can take care of himself. (Plus I think he wanted it to happen to move the story along.)
