Had a brief chat from John Murdock.. He informed me of their new "corporate" g-mail account - jmurdock.and.sonsSPLATgmail.com (which I believe we already have).

Anyways.. he gave me a new "assignment"

Subject: Chits

Jeff -

As you haven't successfully completed an assignment for us, you are in a "provisional employee" status. When you successfully complete one (1) assignment for us, then your employee status bumps up to "standard employee" status.

Chits are like "loyalty points", complete one (non-provisional) assignment and you get a chit. For instance, if you have:

5 chits - raises you to journeyman status
10 chits - raises you to master status
15 chits - raises you to junior partner status
25 chits - raises you to partner status

If you have any questions, reply to this email and someone will get right back to you.

JPM/jos

They accused me of not completing an assignment from February (Sending a recruitment email to someone they specified and copying them).

I've offered proof that I did complete said assignment which should mean that they'll have to "give a 'chit'". Wink

subject Congratulations/Chits

Rogi -

You are no longer a "provisional employee", because you successfully completed one (1) assignment for us, your employee status was bumped up to "standard employee". It took effect when you renewed your employment with us on May 13.

Chits are like "loyalty points", complete one assignment and you get a chit. For instance, if you have:

5 chits - raises you to journeyman status
10 chits - raises you to master status
15 chits - raises you to junior partner status
25 chits - raises you to partner status

Can I ask a favor...?
tripod.com is blocked at work and I'd really like to see the Linderman Notes. Could someone post a copy of:
http://mkylefalconer.tripod.com/notes.pdf
to the forum?

ETA: I was so silly trying to turn that number into a phone number, earlier. I wasn't tracking on the fact that it's just the craigslist address.

Ok so quick note. I'm still in! I've been emailing with different characters. I'll post those when I get back from the pet store. I'm getting ready for my new puppy.

So anyways while emailing Mark Kyle Falconer (Grandson of Mark Falconer) he mentioned that there was a 2nd expedition going on around the time of the Murcheson Expedition. He said it was called the 'Sanders-Hardiman Expedition and involve them finding an Incan mummy. Three of them one by one became very sick but then suddenly recovered.

I asked how old the mummy is (more like asked if someone carbon dated it later on). I actually get to use a little anthropology and history on this one Very Happy I looked the expedition up and found that it was a story in TinTin via wikipedia or it's just another hidden clue. I don't know TinTin enough to say so. But the themes and main points are the same.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minor_characters_in_The_Adventures_of_Tintin#Sanders-Hardiman_Expedition_Members

Sanders-Hardiman Expedition Members

They are members of an expedition which brought an Incan mummy named Rascar Capac back to Europe in The Seven Crystal Balls. The members of the expedition are: Peter Clarkson (photographer), Professor Sanders-Hardiman (head of the expedition) , Professor Reedbuck, Mark Falconer, Professor Paul Cantonneau (who made an appearance in The Shooting Star), Doctor Midge (director of the Darwin Museum), and Professor Hercules Tarragon, who has the Rascar Capac mummy in his possession. They were cursed by the Incas as punishment for the theft of the mummy. They were put into comas and made to suffer nightmares by Chiquito. The Expedition's members were saved by Tintin who visited the Incas' temple to save Professor Calculus, who was also kidnapped by them.
