ARG Information DVD trailhead? A DVD has just been released containing an interview of Shane Watson, puppet master of Silverladder, Voices in the Static, and Hallucinine. It is basically a mini-documentary on ARGs and a more in-depth interview on some specific ARGs. It gives a great glimpse "Behind the Curtain". I bought a pre-order copy last week and I really liked it. I know you guys would like it too!
It looks like you can get ordering information at
http://silverladder.com/dvd.htm .

Yeah, I heard about this just a little while ago. Sounds really good.
Every ARG that man has put out has really sorta redefined ARG's for me.
My copies in the mail, here's hoping it arrives soon !

I pre-ordered a DVD. And was pleasantly surprised - nay ASTONISHED - by how far it exceded my expectations. A definite must for those interested in a (quite lengthy) peek at what goes on for the man behind the curtain.
And for those who played hallucinine, I think you can order via Uno Hallucinine's FB page as well.

Dunno... Does this qualify as a "creepy video"?
I'll be getting it myself as soon as I have the chance.

I am not sure if the DVD is a trailhead or not, but I just realized their are some numbers handwritten on the DVD sleeve. Does anyone else have numbers on theirs? Maybe it is a trailhead!

I just got mine today.. on the front side, I have, written in red, 9
On the back side, written in blue, are 77 68 6f
Haven't watched it yet, and I don't have a black light.... so that's all I can add
---
also of note... my return address is for a church, which I would say was a good idea, to keep "real" information private.
But still odd. Why not just don't put one at all?
anyway... just being thorough because after all BOTH of them say the same thing.. they aren't not commenting either way as to whether or not there is anything "hidden".
So, do your return addresses all go to a church?

How cool: an ARG documentation! Especially of such cool ARGs.
And with something trail-alike stuff!
I'll also order that.
P.S. I hope, they will use my address for their further projects

You get half credit for not being able to show your work.

O/T I haven't watched the dvd yet. I'm planning on watching it later tonight. And I've only been involved in one of his games... and it suffered a premature end. But from all the stuff I've read and seen from the other games, clues, videos, art, etc... He seems to have a real "gift" with his creative works. You guys think he might be someone that would be a good speaker at argfest? Or are the speakers only people who are like arg-famous? Would he be someone that you'd be interested in listening to while there? Or would a person have to had much more solid, professional, or commercial type work experience to be considered?

Just received my DVD today. Upon initial watching I was thrilled, it was a great video explaining the aspects of any ARG. However I was slightly disappointed in the length of the film itself, clocking around 10 minutes.
However there is another large portion of video in the bonus features, which I found absolutely compelling. This touched more on what finer details of what can happen during an ARG, and how this can affect both the puppetmaster and the players. It also explained a lot more about Shane Watson's ARG - Silverladder, which was insightful and interesting. Personally this DVD is WELL worth the five dollars, and a must have for anyone who enjoys ARG's, or who would like to learn more about them.
Cheers, Wy
P.S I got "is" or 69 73 on mine. Along with a red 2 on the front.
