Good Idea, Witsekr Smile

I got the same email Tiffany did - I need to pick a State and send information. Just an update post, I'm off. So far only Arizona is taken, yes?

Edit: I'll take Texas. Smile

I was gone for a few days and all this happened. Hmm, maybe if creepy writes the information that she has to relay to the seeker into one of the scripts, she might be able to get it to the seeker. Actually, if Earl and Randy have the book, perhaps it would be easier to trick them into getting our info than it would be to fool Creepy.

That's a good idea about writing it into the script. I think Randy may already be in the other world, since it was twittered that he'd been reading aloud and he's missing now.. but Earl's still here.

If there are a couple of us working with DDO, we might be able to play Creepy by just having each of us asking her to do things, rather than just one person being pushy.

And I'll write DDO about Texas.

Latest tweet from Earl to Creepy about the book
Earl wrote:
overnighted the book to you! Can you pay me back for that though? Randys still not back yet

After listening to DDO's MOTS radio spot sensing he's an unbalanced lunatic and that it's prudent he doesn't actually get any useful info for his new"Plan". And, Yaha, imo do suspect it IS all his fault. Laughing

BTW--How are those submitting a script page for Randy and Earl planning to upload it to Luny Fans?...as a blog entry?

@witsEkr I had the same thought about DDO not being in control of his mind--either now or in the past.

@amandel I also wondered how to post my entry. I like the idea of uploading it to Luny Fans, but I'll probably send it to the stickyitchers gmail account as well.

I compiled some facts and sent them to DDO. I hope it's enough to gain his trust...

I also sent some emails to DDO seeing if I could possibly be in charge of California. We'll see if anything comes of that though. Communications have been minimal.

As for submitting scripts, in the past games run by these PM's uploading script to the lunyheads page would be best. Plus everyone else can have a look at the work you've done. For MOTP we had another Ning page which we uploaded all of our challenge submissions to. Truly we have a creative bunch of players.

I made a PDF-File, uploaded it via the Comment Wall to "My page" and left a comment for Earl & Randy asking if that's OK for them. Dunno But that was before yesterday's action and I haven't heard of them since. I don't think there'll be any acting as long as Randy's missing.

@Tiffany Your facts are really interesting, and so many of them! I didn't know that such a thing as "official neck wear" exists. Smile

@Trilllian Thanks. I'm a librarian, so I love researching! Very Happy

Earl's most recent tweet doesn't sound so good for Randy, but pretty much what we expected:

Quote:
Im really startin to get worried. I aint seen randy for a whole day now. Drinkin aint the same when your alone

Pretty safe to say that reading aloud from the book is not a good idea for anyone.

DDO contacted me. He seems to trust me now. He wants me to "create printable pinwheels with information about Arizona", particularly something reflecting the state gem. He wants me to show it to "people we trust." It'll take some time, but I'll let you know when I have it ready.

DDO Reply

For what it's worth, here is today's reply from DDO:

Quote:
I am a doctor of pinwheels.
I do not know Kate Callahan.
I do not know anyone.
I do not trust anyone unless they prove themselves.
It is nearly impossible to trust.
But I want to.
It's not my fault.
It is good that you have no loyalty to Creepy.
Does Creepy trust you?

I haven't abandoned the mind control theory, but it's obviously not fruitful yet. I seem to be a few steps behind others with DDO, but I'll post what I get and keep trying.

Success with DDO! If it helps anyone else with another state, I'll post what I sent him:
Quote:

Doctor,
Please trust me!
I choose Texas.
Creepy does not know.
Creepy is too worried about the book to worry about me.
There is lots of information about Texas - anyone could find it.
I will not bore you with the obvious: that it is the second largest state in size and population.
You are smart. You are a doctor. You already know this about Texas.
I will tell you what was interesting.
There is a large series of geological faults that go across the state.
It's called the Balcones Fault Zone. Faults are found all the time.
The geologists say that the faults are not active. There are no earthquakes. It is not like California.
They may be doctors, but I'm not stupid. The ruptures must go somewhere.
Oil and mining industries are big in this State, as you know.
I think it could lead to problems with the faults.
Maybe the oilmen are to blame for this.
I hope you trust me now.
I trust you.
Did you get the information you wanted?
What information do you need?
-Karija

Man, you can blame big oil for EVERYTHING!

Quote:
Friend,
Your state is Texas, and I can trust you.
You believe me.
You trust me.
I am the doctor. I love pinwheels.
I trust you.
Someone has to create pinwheels.
Can you do make them?
They must be printable with information about Texas.
My favorite fact is the one about the faults.
Use this fact however you like when you create your pinwheel.
It has to be something people can print out.
Where will you put it up?
How will you send people there?
Only send people whom we can trust.
I trust you.
This may require a few days from you. Please let me know how it is coming along.
The people must be freed.
I would never send them there.
You know I would not.
Thank you.
DDO

So.. I've got to make pinwheels about the Balcones Fault Zone in Texas. Joy! I looked around online and saw http://www.janbrett.com/piggybacks/piggybacks_the_hat_pinwheel.htm, maybe I can just impose images over both sides or something...

LOL! Can we change tasks, please? I'd rather make pinwheels than this:
Quote:
Creepy must not post the images online.
This is a strong idea.
However, if someone saw them and read them aloud, it would be disastrous.
We need another plan.
I know a way to get messages into the other world.
It will take some time.
Gain Creepy's trust.
Show me that you are the person Creepy trusts the most.

I really need some help here. An alternative plan for getting a transcript of the book & showing him that I'm the person Creepy trust most?? I've got no idea what he's expecting. Confused

@Trillian--would Creepy, also mindful of the danger, be compliant enough to transcribe the pages in Morse or ROT13 etc.? Was gonna suggest that myself when/if I get a pages assignment. Dunno

So having been giving the ok from DDO to share this with people I trust (That would be all of you), I can now tell you that I have California as my state. I too have to build a pinwheel. Here's the email from DDO:

Quote:
Friend,

Your state is California, and I can trust you.

You know I did not do this.

I would not do this.

I am the doctor. I love pinwheels.

I need your help.

Create some pinwheels.

Can you do that?

They must be printable with information about California.

My favorite fact is the one about the Jungle Cruise.

Use this fact however you like when you create your pinwheel.

Other people must be able to print it out.

Where will it be?

How will people find it?

Only show it to those whom we can trust.

I trust your judgement.

This project may take some time. Please keep me updated.

We have to do what is right.

I would not do anything wrong.

You believe me.

Thank you.

DDO

I should clarify, I mentioned to DDO that California is home to Disneyland, where I just happened to be a Jungle Cruise Skipper for three years a while back. That is the fact that was picked as DDO's favorite. Which means I am designing a pinwheel with a picture of myself from those days. I'll share it with you when I am done.

I am now waiting for an email from DDO regarding how I should submit this pinwheel. Do I just email a design or do I need to make one and send it? This is getting more and more awesome every day.
