...Next time won't you sing with me?

I'm still standing by the mind control theory! Perhaps nanomachines have taken over his body.... In my last e-mail I told him that I thought I could gain Creepy's trust and asked him what I should do. He sent this:

Quote:
I need to know what you will do.

Can you gain her trust?

What will get her attention?

Keep her from knowing!

I did not do anything wrong.

I am the doctor.

I picked up on the zebra and xylophone too and immediately thought of a children's alphabet book (albeit backwards, and skipping "Y")... Considering the box with the jewels was hidden by children and pinwheels are also associated with children, could a children's book be involved somehow?

I'm thinking about proposing something kid-related to get Creepy's attention and gain her trust. Any ideas? Maybe tweet some knock-knock jokes? I need your help!

BTW, AWESOME script, Trillian! Very Happy

Sorry

Emergencies frequently begin with a phone callin the middle of the night. Mine did.

I'm using a land line connex to post this as my Global USB internet is proving useless atm where I'll be working for a month. Besides the RW probs this means I'm limited regarding submissions, team projects etc.

Should getting info from Creepy and Doc remain tweets and emails then no worries. If it's down/uploads and/or PDFs then Doc will have to work with one of y'all.....sadly not me.

This is a fun blast, continue to have one cuz I'll still be reading daily.*crossing fingers this USB will somehow kick start* Twisted Evil

I heard back from DDO. He seemed to like the pinwheel and has another task for me:
Quote:
Your next task is to contact more friends we can trust.
Friends from Arizona.
I don't actually know anyone in AZ. So, if any of you know people from AZ who would like to join our club, pls. let me know. Or, if you have any ideas on how complete this task in general, pls. let me know.

@witsEkr I have not abandoned the mind control theory either. I like your idea about a children's book. I searched Amazon, but the only children's books with zebra, xylophone, and pinwheel were two dictionaries and a sticker book. I'll keep looking, though, and let you know if I find something. I don't think we should rule out the child theme, but it may not be based on a specific book. I like the idea of tweeting knock knock jokes to get Creepy's attention. You might as well try it; if she doesn't respond let us know and we'll start brainstorming again.

My Weird Brain Has Done it Again

Greetings all,

So my interesting brain has come up with a two-sided pinwheel template. The drill is simple, print both pictures, cut lines inward from the corners and stop about an inch from the center. Then fold in a corner on each piece and BAM!, you have the weirdest pinwheel I've ever seen. You can find the templates here:

http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l214/ifihadahifi78/ifihadahifiPinwheelSide1Template.jpg

http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l214/ifihadahifi78/ifihadahifiPinwheelSide2Template.jpg

Hopefully this works for everyone to be able to print. I do have a physical copy of the pinwheel that I made. I will try to get a picture of it when I get home later. But for now, enjoy. I hope DDO likes this warped little craft of mine.

Updates

Off work today and doing some research....

I am attempting to gain Creepy's trust by first tweeting knock-knock jokes to get her attention (we'll see what DDO thinks of this idea...)

While researching alphabet books and xylophone/zebra, I came across this quote:
Quote:

When I was young I was mislead by flash cards into believing that xylophones and zebras were much more common.
(Amy-Elyse Neer, Starbucks "The Way I See It" #297)

on this blog:
http://www.johndcook.com/blog/2008/09/03/xylophones-and-zebras/

I also discovered that there is an alphabet book by Matthew Fleet published by Pinwheel Limited (a division of Alligator books in the UK). It has an animal theme and probably does not contain xylophones, but I'll bet it has a zebra.

I have relatives in AZ who have a friend that may help our cause. I will send him an e-mail and see.

That's all for now. I'll keep you posted.

Edit: Sent Creepy a knock-knock, got the "who's there?".... I have her attention, now I need a good follow up!

@amandel Sorry to hear that you are handicapped communication-wise. Hope you're fine in every other respect and that you'll be able to get a better connection, soon. Sounds like you'll miss the real fun, e.g. the show itself and Earl's vids. Sad I think that's the true loss, while not being able to up/download anything is simply annoying. If there's anything you need to stay updated, just say so.

I mailed DDO to let him know that I'm still trying to find a way to get the transcript and used the chance to ask him about the zebras and xylophones in his commercial. He answered that he "meant the rupture points". ??? No idea what that means. He also gave me the Florida-assignment and I'm collecting information right now.

RE mind control. Perhaps we can ask Kate Callahan what she thinks about DDO and his behaviour. I'll ask Creepy if there's a way to contact her. Since Creepy's not very responsive, (i.e. she hasn't answered ANY of my questions so far Cursing ), could somebody else try and ask her the same?

@ifihadihifi WHAT is Schwarzenegger doing with/to the cat? Smile

EDIT: Did anybody else notice that Earl seems to be very reluctant about sending the page to Creepy. My impression is that he's seriously thinking about joining Randy.

After reading DDO's response to Trillian, I'm wondering about planes, such as the x-z plane or x-y plane. Perhaps he's referring to coordinates for the rupture points?

Ok, I have no idea what he is doing to/with that cat, Trillian. I have a lot of questions about that guy, but that is neither here nor there.

Now to answer the first part, I just realized what he meant by that "rupture points" comment. Below is the transcript of his last commercial:

Quote:

I am the doctor
I am the doctor
For everyone
Love Pinwheels
For Everyone
Love Pinwheels
Are you a pinwheel lover?
Zebras!
Can you play?
Are you there?
Can you play?
Are you there?
This is not my fault
Xylophones
I am the doctor
I am the doctor

So if you look down the first letters, you get: II FL FL AZ CA CA TX II. That's our list of states bookended by two "I"'s. I can't believe I didn't notice that before.

Nice find ifihadahifi.

@Trillian I noticed that to, I messaged Creepy about it and she's been pressing the issue on Earl pretty hard. I wasn't involved with Transition village or whatever preceded it, but from what I've read Earl seems pretty accident prone.

Nice...

Great find - I didn't think it was going to be so superficial. (I thought it sounded like a set up to next week's commercial - maybe more letters?)

Anyone having any luck finding contact info for Kate Callahan?

In regards to Kate, she was the main character of the Man of the People game from last year along with Earl and Randy. I'm not sure if her commercial is more of a throw back to that game, or if we are meant to contact her. When that game was running she had a myspace page but that hasn't been logged into since October of last year, when her character went missing in the game. Most of what she speaks of in her commercial is from that game. So there is the backstory on that.

So again, I don't know if we are meant to contact Kate, but it is a good idea to keep in mind. You never can tell where this is going to go.

Also, I have not heard back from DDO regarding my pinwheel design. I'll post again when I hear back from him.

Kate Callahan

Tweet from Creepy after I asked about Kate Callahan. Seems like Kate isn't involved:
Quote:
I don't have any contact info. for Kate Callahan, and Earl mentioned that she's a bit of a keep-to-herself type these days.

Well, the tweet that Trillian received seems to suggest that we might not need to contact Kate after all.

I got a response from DDO about the pinwheel:

Quote:

Friend,

You have done an admirable job.

I knew it was right to trust you.

Are you ready for the next step?

You will need to find people we can trust in California.

I trust you to know who can be trusted.

Can you help find people?

DDO

I told him that I have many friends in CA that I could get to help. I asked him what I should do when I find people we can trust, and I am awaiting that response now. It seems like emails from DDO arrive once a day, so I may have to wait until tomorrow to see what must be done. Man, this is getting really exciting.
