Gladhean--that's massively heroic decoding which I repeated verbatim in my answer to this mail from The Doctor. TY Bigtime. Cool

I will give you the location of the code.

Hi everyone!

So after a stressful weekend of car issues and sickness, I am back online. Sadly I have not been able to get to the drop points. I have asked DDO if this weekend will be too late, as it is the earliest I can go down there. However, I had another email from him this morning regarding a second drop:

Quote:

Friend,

Have you found it?

Time is running out.

I have another for you.

Both will work.

Find them both, if you can.

Or send a friend we can trust.

The mall in the spectrum of things.

The lot next to movie theatre.

Face the theatre.

Left-hand side.

Second door to the first floor.

Bushes.

Two or three steps look up.

Branches.

Time is running out.

I look forward to your reply.

DDO

So I am not sure, but based on the fact that the first drop is located in Fullerton, I am thinking that this next on is at the Irvine Spectrum Mall. There is a giant movie theater there that they could be referring to. If so, I'll be able to go Saturday and check around as these are my old stomping grounds. My girlfriend and I are planning on making a day out of it provided that it won't be too late.

Anyone make any progress on the other rupture points?

@ifihadahifi Glad to hear you're back on track! I'm sorry it was such a rough weekend for you.
I have emailed the Dr. asking what to do if we can't get to the rupture points. I haven't heard from Mindhaze, so I'm unsure if we'll get to the AZ rupture point. I contacted my cousin in FL before I knew the city, but she lives in Miami and is in the middle of planning a wedding. I doubt she has time to run to Tampa, and I haven't heard back from her anyway. My husband is terrified I'm going to make us go to Tampa or Tucson for our belated honeymoon! Laughing
Anyone have thoughts on the voting? I'm not sure I can bring myself to vote.

Just got an email from DDo stating that Saturday would not be too late for me to head out to the rupture points. So, barring any unforseen circumstances, my girlfriend and I should be making a trip to these two points this weekend.

If anyone gets to their drop point before the weekend, let us know. I am really interested to know what I should expect from this.

This was the Dr.'s response:
Quote:
There is only one way I know to get a message to the other world.
The rupture points.
I will research other ways.
This is all I know.
A message must reach the people without being spoken.

@ifihadahifi I'm so jealous! Good luck and have fun!

ifihadahifi-- Really glad you're fine again and able to take a looksee. However.......
After getting this last email I'm wondering whether the rupture locations are our usual "live drop spots". Dunno

Reckon the code are his "notes" on page 5. Do you, ifihadahifi, want to make first ctc with Creepy for these notes?
Would it be cluey to see exactly what these "code words" are before trusting The Doctor?

I'm so glad I didn't have to listen to it more than once, thanks Ghadhean. I pity to guy who had to read this, he's probably having trouble formulating any coherent sentence, since.

amandel, ROFLing at your commercial. I found a black & white video with "Solitary Man" on youtube. Just image Earl or Randy sitting there with a guitar & singing "I am .. a Sticky Itchers Man..." Laughing

I told the doc that we haven't had any luck finding people in Tampa so far:
Quote:
Friend,
Time is running out.
There may be another location in Florida.
I will check my records.
Let me know if you can find someone in Tampa.

I don't know about the geocaching that Ghadhean suggested, but what about the uF? Is there a thread/category where we can ask for help? I've been looking around but couldn't find anything fitting.

There's the famous uF Frappr Map which doesn't look promising for AZ and FL.
THX on that commercial, couldn't make a remix here w/o Audacity etc. but sent it anyway for the LOLZ Laughing

Amandel - I will contact Creepy ASAP to get the notes from Page 5. This is good to know that I need to print another copy of the pinwheel to take with me to the Irvine location. That would have been a drag to have been without it when I arrived.

Tiffany - As for voting, I am torn. Here's a slight OOG tangent. You see, back in the first game run by Funnel Productions (Man of the People), Earl was murdered by a brainwashed Randy. Then in the second game (Transition Village) a few of us brought Earl back to life. Now in this game, Earl did a heroic thing trying to make sure that Randy was ok. I feel like saving Earl, nothing against Randy as I like him too, but I'm having a hard time choosing. But that is how I am leaning. Nothing to do with this game really, but my current thought process on the topic.

ETA - Even though the voting seems hard, I just realized that if all goes well this weekend with the rupture points, we might be able to bring everyone home before the show starts on Monday. Just a thought, but that might be our ticket to saving everyone involved.

I'm torn on voting, too. I wonder - what happens if no one votes? Smile Personally, I'm leaning towards saving Earl.

As to ruptures - I haven't heard anything from DDO about a drop in Texas. I've been pretty busy and just haven't been emailing him (the last email I got from him was just that we must get the show running)... should there be one, my contact there is a no-go, it's busy season and she's likely not going to have time. I couldn't get the map to load, but we may need to find people there.

If we do have someone, I'm more than happy to contact DDO ASAP to make sure a drop happens. If not, I'll stay in this sort of communication limbo with him.

Wow, I keep missing these updates. I can't vote, there's no way. If I had to, though, it'd be to save Earl seeing as he's already died once. If the doctor ever does anything like that again, I'll go crazy. I'd help with the rupture points if I could, but sadly I live in Kentucky.

I still haven't heard page from Creepy about the notes on Page 5. If I don't heard anything by this afternoon, I'll send another direct message to her via twitter. I think we may need those notes before going to the rupture points.

ETA - Creepy sent me a message telling me that she'd send the Page 5 info tonight! However, she also asked how we knew which pages to ask for every time. So I told her we were looking into patterns in the words from previous pages. Hopefully she doesn't ask me to explain that. I had to think quickly. I'll post the info as soon as I get it.

Arizona Rupture Point

Sorry I couldn't post sooner...caught a computer virus and my internet connection has been down most of the week.

I think Ghadhean found the point in Tucson. There is clearly a bus stop on the west side of Campbell Ave. between 6th and Broadway. It's also next to the University of Arizona. The SunTran schedule calls it out as "Stop #11926 Campbell/9th St". I'm a little concerned that Tiffany's clue indicated Campbell RD. and this is Campbell AVE., but everything else seems to fit.

For the record, there are Campbell Roads in Chandler and Gilbert as well as one in Bullhead City as previously mentioned, but none of these have the 6th-Broadway-University connection. Arizona State University lies between 6th Street and Broadway in Tempe, AZ, but is nowhere near a Campbell Road or Avenue.

Unfortunately, I am unable to make the road trip to Tucson to check out the bus stop, and I don't know anyone who lives there.

Sorry I can't be of more help. Any ideas how to proceed?

No Worries, Mindhaze, and quite understandable that you can't make it.

Just for good order the correct stop is "Stop #11880 Campbell/6th St" shown on the SunTran schedule I posted on the previous page. Same Link Here
