I'm going to make my best effort to be there. Money is tight right now so I'm currently looking into the cheapest ways to get up there. Still haven't nailed down a video camera so I prolly won't be able to take video, but that's not much of a big deal.

Hopefully we can get a few people who are going and decide on a meet-up location, I'm thinking around 2:00 or 2:30.

Philly to NYC:

PATCO to Riverline to Northeast Corridor Line.

It'll run you about $4 for the hi-speed line, $2.70 for the riverline, and about $24 for the northeast corridor line -- round trip.

Amtrak will take you directly, but will cost you $90 round trip. I'd go with the $30.70 trip myself.

Smile

Just be aware that although PATCO and NE Corridor run 24 hours a day, Riverline service does not. It runs only 6 am to midnight. Shouldn't be a problem, but plan accordingly.

I will be there with my camera to document as much as possible

Look for this guy:

I'll have a black baseball hat, black burton jacket, and sunglasses....which are also black. I swear to god I'm not some emo kid, haha, I just like black. I'm definitely down for a 2 o'clock meetup. I'm driving from Boston so I'm hoping this is worth it

I'll be there! Won't be able to get on the train til 2:30 so I guess I'll go straight to the volleyball / basketball courts? I'm going to bring a camcorder.

yup, go straight to the volleyball/basketball courts. If your video is too big for youtube, split it and upload it in parts.

You can take the R7 from center city to Trenton too. It'll cost a little more than PATCO+RiverLine, but it's faster.

(I'm in Philly as well, but sadly cannot be travelling.)

Based off the map, what Mars has been saying, and what Chuck's Twitter has said, I think it could go like this.

What I'm imagining could happen is that Mars shows up at the basketball courts at 3:00 on the 17th, carrying a package. She finds a group of people (those of us that will make it there) and gives them the package saying something like, "Get this to the rebels, or maybe you can help us.." or something similar to what she has said before. Suddenly, Blackstar's armed forces are on there way and she runs off to escape.

I dunno, that's just how I'd do it.

As much as I wish I could be there, I won't be. But I still hope those going get some SWAG if nothing else. My hope: we find out what this ARG is for; and the peeps get some swag they could mail to me for free! Laughing

Maybe everyone should bring a family tree. We saw what it did to the worker in the second video.

So those of us that are going, are we going to try and where something to identify each other? I'm sure it won't be hard when its just a group surrounding the courts but I figured I'd ask

I'd say "Hey let's all wear Cool Dog glasses!" but I guess that's not something everyone would have, including myself, eheh. I figure we should just establish a specific meet-up point and maybe have a sign or something.
