Has anyone tried to call the number yet?

Yes, it's a standard VCF file, no content except the name, email, phone, and location.

It opens in Outlook. You can also open it in Notepad as it is text-based data.

Yep... it's nothing more than the voice message that thebruce mentioned earlier- "Welcome to Skynet Research. We're committed to making your life different." Then it beeps, and I assume you can leave a message. I didn't. This early on, I don't really have anything to say.

Alright, thanks. I might call and leave a message or something then. /maybe ask a question. Idk. I'm still new at this.

I find it funny that the first ARG I majorly participated in was for TSCC, and the second one I hope to be able to play a majority of is one for Terminator:Salvation.

I really don't even like the movies either.

42 Entertainment is the company behind these games: The Beast, I Love Bees, Hex 168, Last Call Poker, MSN Found, Dead Man's Tale, Year Zero, The Dark Knight and Project Abraham. This is not a complete list, by any means, but should give you an idea of their reputation for developing good ARG/Viral Campaigns.

Oh I didn't know that 42 was behind year zero, that's kinda cool.

PS: Hey FractalGod. That's a cool picture you've got there.

I don't think this is by 42. It's too... I don't know... subtle.

Truthfully I have never been able to enjoy the start of a 42 campaign. So I wouldn't know how they like to start things. It's possible that with the Super Bowl coming up that an ad for "Salvation" could air which officially starts off the campaign.

If this is truly done by 42, I will have high hopes for it since I was able to enjoy the last few months of "The Dark Knight" ARG
