From a link on the main skynetresearch page... Can't install (at work) but first on my list for when I get home...

Installed it. It's flashy. There seems to be some sort of analysis its capable of, but the button just switches back and forth between a globe screen and another grid screen that must be "interacting" with the Module 101 as a guess by the information it lists. At the bottom, there's a place to input a code, 8 characters.

And beneath that, there appears to be a couple of RNA strings, and not-really-hidden among them is a button that says 'Genetics' when moused over, but it's not interactive.

Can post screenshots if wanted, but it's easier to see for yourselves.

Here is the main screen of it. And the map screen, I'm guessing the yellow dots are other people using it maybe?

Has anyone checked their EMs to see if there is an 8 digit code somewhere on the device or in the instructions? I will be checking in a few.

I'm not entirely comfortable with putting a Warner bros application on my computer that has unrestricted access to my file system...

or is that just part of the game?

Only time will tell my friend. I have added the app. and things are strange. I thought my EMs were making my security drones weird before, but now......

...this can't be good.

EDIT: It is time to start questioning Skynet and their intentions. This is WAY beyond Homeland Security. This is just wrong.

Did anyone catch that the ResistSkynet Twitter account posted an update that says:

Skynet Research reminds you not to believe the lies being disseminated by @ResistSkynet

I think they posted that from the wrong account! Laughing

DCP and code

Yeah. weird. the genetics thing in the bottom left seems some kind of obvious clue, but to what? I dunno. Doesn't work as a passcode unless I'm missing something, although it does have 8 characters. Any guesses? I think that perhaps bits of it will become unlocked over time? Maybe Bre will post the code...

By the way, the scientist mentioned in the diagram, Hiroyuki Aihara, is a geneticist who according to Google seems to be prominently working with "Gene transfer into muscle by electroporation in vivo"

and the "Institut Pasteur 28 Rue" is this lab in Paris: http://www.pasteur.fr/

I installed it. Am sure it doesn't really of unrestricted access to our computers, but saying that as part of the ARG. I wonder what the code is

according to the terms of service it's mostly just to tell us of updates on the viral sites

Think it's a coincidence that the code requires 8 characters, and there are 8 boxes at the bottom of the diagram, right above the code input box?

Maybe the code is time-released. Hm.

Debug mode

There's an XML file in the swfOutput subfolder of the program's program file folder called skyNet_DEBUG.xml. If you open it and change false to true, it outputs a debug file to your desktop when you run the program.

Ok, I did that, but I don't see anything useful in there...
