I have the rest of the week off from work, so I was planning on running in there tomorrow. I'll check out the camera and ask around to see if they have heard about resisting Skynet. Will keep you posted. Smile

That would be extremely cool.

I noticed that if you right-click on the globe, on the DCP, there's a menu that lets you view the statistics of the program. "T ELEMENTS" seems to represent the number of yellow blips on the globe, so I've been checking the number regularly.

[4/14/09 - 10:30] 2,160 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.
[4/14/09 - 11:30] 2,185 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.
[4/14/09 - 12:14] 2,219 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.
[4/14/09 - 13:11] 2,244 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.
[4/14/09 - 13:41] 2,260 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.
[4/14/09 - 14:22] 2,271 World-wide Skynet DCP Installations.

Each of those times are Central, btw.

So as of 2:22 central time there are 2271 people who have signed up for the DCP or that are connected at that time? Hmm. have fun at Atomic Comics, that store at the Chandler Mall is pretty cool.

Someone take a look at this. I don't know if anyone else has already looked at it.

http://terminatorsalvation.warnerbros.com/skynetresearchdcp/api/getGeoIP.php

Is it useless info? Is it info that shouldn't be published? Or are these drop zones?

I looked at the lat and long for the Kissimmee Florida one and it's located in the middle of some trees/swamp area. Unless things have changed since that satellite shot.

http://atlas.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&formtype=address&latlongtype=degrees&latdeg=28&latmin=24&latsec=23&longdeg=-81&longmin=44&longsec=56

It might be nothing...I don't know...anyone else?

I have thought about these lats and lons. So think about this, could it be your latitude and longitude of where your IP adress is. It is recording where you are in the world acessing the site?

If anyone actually sees a smashed Skynet camera, or even a whole one, would you mind taking pictures? I'm sure everyone would like to see them. I'm quite curious now...

Not too late, I don't think. In fact, I think it's about to get good. I do have a question, though...

I've had the application running for over three days now, but I just turned it off and restarted it, to see if it would update. Now it gets stuck at "Connecting..." and opens a "Download the Skynet Research DCP" webpage.

Is this happening to anyone else? If so, it may mean that their server crashed. If not, then I probably have a gremlin named Ryan Seacrest or something.

Yeah, when you hover your mouse cursor over the "P" on the Products page, a password prompt shows up... unfortunately, if you look at the source code of the page, ANYTHING you type in will come get an "Access Denied" response.

I think it'll accept a legitimate password in the future, but for now, I think it just serves as a place-marker. If it makes you feel any better, I didn't get one of those Enhancement Modules either. Wink

I had the same thing happen. Downloaded it and reinstalled and the problem went away.

At the risk of going out on a limb: in the analysis display the name Aiharat is listed twice. I tried searching for it, and it led to the Sony bi-directional scanning protocol for controlling video feeds and cameras. Maybe a reference to the 101 Enhancement modules?

Trout me if this has already been posted here... but I'm thinking the code/password on the DCP application (in the corner) might be linked to the password on the Products page of Skynet Research when/if it becomes active in the future. Dunno

I'll bring my camera to Atomic Comics tomorrow and see if they'll let me take a picture of the camera, smashed or not. Unless someone can get to it before me...

Atrophied, good catch. I did the same thing, but I think you managed to catch some things I missed... likewise, I might've caught a few things you missed. My transcript of the audio is located here.
