So, I'm really really curious as to what this DCP does. Now that I've installed it, I've grown a bit wary of this whole thing.

Theories: Maybe WB is using our distributed computing to render CG?
They're getting our LAT/LON coordinates to laser us off the map?
It's cleverly disguised spyware?

I dunno. I'd really like to know. I'm sure once we figure out the passcode for the box in the corner, everything will become clearer. My theory is that those coordinates in that video from a while back might be a key. I think they were something like

Vista users.... check out %rootdrive%:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Skynetresearch.DCP.x

looks like that's where all the DCP files are kept. I looked through the code, but didn't find anything interesting, but could use a second opinion.

make sure you can see hidden folders!

The DCP version number changed from 1.0 to 0x000013. Seems like a weird version scheme when it was originally 1.0, and its 8 characters.

Doesn't work though. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

and i looked up Oligonucleotide and i got this bit of wiki
Oligonucleotides composed of DNA (deoxyoligonucleotides) are often used in the polymerase chain reaction, a procedure that can greatly amplify almost any small piece of DNA. There, the oligonucleotide is referred to as a primer, allowing DNA polymerase to extend the oligonucleotide and replicate the complementary strand.

Just now, I was sitting across the room from my PC, watching television while leaving the DCP running, and I heard a noise... looked up, and a video was transmitting across the DCP. It suddenly went full-screen on my system... I watched enough of it to realize that it's the newest video that was posted on ResistOrBeTerminated.com.
