First off, this post doesn't add any new information, just something I found and followed through on. Turned out it was a VERY cold dead end. I'm still one heck of a rookie when it comes to ARGs, but I'm having fun and it hasn't even started yet. Now if you care to read on, let me explain myself.

I figured I'd look around and see if I could find anything else pertaining to "Skynet Research Inc.". So, I started simple and looked at Google. Adding quotes to my search, I got 3 hits. One of which is the site in question (www.skynetresearch.com). The other two linked to Excel spreadsheets. I was pretty skeptical about them (I mean, those of you with more experience would have seen them, no?); but, I wanted to see if I found something new. The speadsheets listed the the names of many different companies, and the one for Skynet Research Inc. listed a New York address... 101 Maiden Lane #406, New York, NY 10038. Not finding any info on the address, so I went to Street View in Google Maps. I see what appears to be a torn down building accross from a Chipotle. Wondering if it ties into the ARG at all, I spend a good half-hour trying to find anything else out about the adress. Finally, I go back to the spreadsheets.

Of course, looking closer I see they're on the FCC's website. The two Excel pages are auction Summaries for "Interactive Video and Data Services (IVDS)". They were auctioning off licenses for Celllar services back in 1994 and this was the record of the auction winners!!! I'd been following a dead end for the last hour!

Now, I apologize if this is off-topic (I will gladly delete it if asked), but thought I'd make a note of it if anyone finds the same dead trail.
Hopefully I'll be able to find something a little more pertaining in the upcoming weeks/months. If not though, I'll be along for the ride!
