Kinda looks like a strainer basket from a check valve. Just a suggestion, ask him to press the ends and sides in clay, or ink roll it, or some thing so we can see the design of it clearly without the naughty camera shortage.

Just in case you weren't sure this was a game and thought that things like this really happen.

Perhaps, it only stays onscreen for half a second so it might have just been oversight.

Then again, there are obvious spikes in the glitching where you can see the object when paused, I don't think obscuring the object is their main priority.

Well, even if the tags are a little bit direct, the idea is cool. I'll follow it. I wonder, when will Men in Black come to him to get this thing back Smile

There seems to be a round medal/award in a few shots of the object that has a white label on it. I can't get a clear shot to see what it says (probably just Addam Kidde.) But if anyone can read that, maybe something...

Tests

I've wrote an email asking for some tests over the object.

Quote:
Hello Adam,
I've seen your video in youtube, and, wow, thats really strange.
Have u tried some tests over that object? The object seems to be wrapped by some kind of field...
Try this:
-give it some electricity (be carefull). Film it. Start with 9v... try some 110v.
-Film the object while you put it close to some ferromagnetic object (back side of a car speaker, for example).
-Put the object underwater and film it (inside a glass for example).
-Give the object some pressure with a clamp... Film it.

Watch the videos... post the results!

I hope this help...

Best regards,

Victor Sueiro

Sent him off an email as well...

Quote:
Hi Adam,
That's a really utterly bizarre object. I've never seen anything like it either. Where exactly did you find it in the park? Was it buried underneath something, or was it just lying on the grass?
Also, does your dog react to it at all-- like does he cringe away from it, or growl/bark at it? That might mean it's giving off some sort of an electrical field.

My friend suggested rolling it in some clay to imprint the pattern in it so that we can see the design better. Or you could try drawing it.

Let me know if you find anything more on it.

Ooooh, shiny! I'll lurk here (and possibly join) jump on since Rachel's Walk has yet to start. Wink

ETA: Just did a quick google of his name and came up with nothing but this thread and that video. Also sent off this email:

Quote:
Hi Adam,

That's truly an interesting object there! What did you find it near?

Maybe you could try shining a flashlight or something through it? Also, how does it react to other types of light, such as sunlight? Is there anything strange about how it looks/smells/feels?

Please let me know how it goes! Looking forward to your next video ^^

~Saki

...Is it just me, or does he look really familiar...?
