On my way down to London for the gig now, getting quite excited! Very Happy

Btw, if anyone's knocking about London later and hasn't got a ticket, let me know, as I have a spare!

Boy, where to start?!?! (This is a long one!)

So got to the gig, everything appeared normal. Unfortunately, was by myself, so went and sat on a table by myself, doing the whole "I don't want you to know I don't have friends, so I'm going to pretend to text people" routine. See Matt, Rach and Fluffy walking around with cameras and stuff, just chatting to people. Matt comes over to the table next to me, dumps down his stuff and then looks at me, comes over, and in a really suspicious way says "Erm, are you here for the comedy gig?", obviously not recognising me..... So I said "Yeh, here as part of the Routes game"..... slightly suspicious looks from him again so I said "Oh, I'm Tom by the way, been speaking to you on Facebook?"..... Penny drops, we get chatting, he offers to let me sit on his table with him...... Job's a good'un!

Anyways, after the first interval, I'm introduced to Rachel (HOT! Very Happy

) and Fluffy, both seemed up for the night of comedy, but were also well aware that Aalia could resurface during the gig. Bit of chat with those guys, then they point out these two suspicious looking men; one with a brown, leather jacket and greased back hair, the other a big bald guy, wouldn't look too out of place on The Football Factory. They asked me if I could find out any more about them, see if they worked for security or summat, so I asked this woman that worked there and she said she didn't know who they were. We kinda give up trying to find out who they are as the 2nd act starts, but Matt is no longer laughing during the next performance (him and Fluffy are sat at opposite sides of the auditorium)

Aaanyways, nothing really happens in the second act, apart from the two guys still pacing around a bit, looking very dodgy indeed.

Katherine Ryan comes on, and out of what appeared to be some sort of door to backstage, a young woman who looks distinctly like Aalia comes out. Thought to myself "Is that Aalia?"; Matt then turns to me and says "That's gotta be Aalia, hasn't it?". He gives it another 5 mins and goes and sits with her on the front table, all the while the "suspects" keeping a keen eye on proceedings.

It comes to the end of Katherine's routine, and as the compere comes on, the "suspects" make a beeline for Aalia's table, one of them tries to grab her, then Matt and the guy next to him have a tussle with the two guys, as Rach and Fluffy make their way across to the table. The lights then went out (Carmen and her friend got a little bit excited and ran through the middle of the room shouting "GET OUT!", was quite amusing!) Then the lights came on and Aalia and Matt had disappeared out to backstage, with the "suspects" prowling around near the entrance. Then there was about 5 or so minutes where Rachel gathered everyone round to discuss how we were going to get Aalia out without her getting grabbed again (there was no stage door, so there was only one way out), the plan being to disguise ourselves with a load of animal masks that just so happened to be conveniently left over backstage from "last night's performance of Animal Farm - The Musical", processing out in disguise so that the suspects followed us not knowing if Aalia was one of us or not, and walking once round the block so that Matt could safely get Aalia in a taxi......... So that's what we did! (Bearing in mind this is gone 10pm in a very busy area of bars in London, goodness knows what the locals thought of a bunch of people walking round in animal masks!)

Got back to Hoxton Hall, the two guys ran off in the other direction. Fluffy was with us, I showed him the footage of "it" all happening...... I kinda stood there, "stunned", not quite knowing what to make of what happened. Matt and Rach both came back, said Aalia was safe in a taxi. I said goodbye and that....... then thought to myself as I walked away "did that really just happen??!"

Was such an eventful evening!

I just knew something was gonna happen.... GOD I wished I lived in London sometimes. Think I might transfer to uni there...

Do you have any footage? Like uploadable stuff?
I'm reeeeeeally gutted I wasn't there.

By the way, did you pass on my feelings of love for Matt?
