Can someone help me translate this so I can find out why?

Ok... correct me if I'm wrong, but thats not a standard reply from the Daemon Mail server for an invalid e-mail address... I think that could be an auto-responder. Usually, you get a report of "Address not Valid" or "Server Unreachable" with your e-mail attached to the bottom of it...
I think someon has recieved it, just dosent want to reply...

What it did was to ask for authentication, in other words its asking for some sort of password.

How do we get/give a password in this instance. Nothing in the message states how to authenticate.
And doesn't it strike anyone as weird that an address to a classified section of a newspaper requires a password to submit an ad?

I think it's some sort of blackhole list. I have the same problem trying to email the people from GO! (or at least I did)

hmm, I tried to ping it, and it didnt realy respond, of course it could only have the email port open (cant remember its number...) but I dont think soo. Anthrax101 is probably right.
I tried to add an add (sorry, no pun ) in the classifieds section asking for contact with a physics student, but I have of yet not gotten any sort of reply.

here is a interesting Tidbit..
The IP address of 66.139.73.95 given in the error code is Landau, Luckman, and Lake web site ..
Now why would LLL be affliated Coyote Dispatch.
and the error messgae 503, is saying you are not on a recognized list of IP I am guessing to send emails to them.

I am guessing they use the same hosting company, ala Metacortechs.

No...
The IP corresponds to server.thisisnotagame.com, which is the main server for all game sites. Specifically, it acts as the email and web server for all of them, hence why they all appear to be "related". There is no in-game connection - at least not from this evidence.

E-Mail Ports E-Mail ports on servers are usually:
HTTP E-Mail servers: port 80
Shell (Pop/SMTP): port 110
