[INFO] ChuckDideEate - The Man, the Mystery & the Tweets
Log and discuss his Twitter updates here!

As this game gets more and more complex, we're needing more and more threads to separate out the relevant information.

Please post all info about and interactions with ChuckDideEate here, so we can track his tweets and speculation about his identity and significance.

Anything prior to the date this thread was started can probably be found in the Communication from & with Milwaukee Residents thread.

Thanks!

Just a thought- Mike said to pay attention to Chuck's twitters this week, and the most recent one,

Quote:

has palate misspelt as palette, which has already been mentioned as a range of colors (often in paint). Same twitter includes "grape," and previous twitter mentions "peach"es, just a hunch but should we be awaiting more color-name foods?

In the disoriented call I was barely able to recognize myself, there was a bit of it in the beginning that was (strangely enough) never recorded and forgot to mention. Mike mentioned that he used to be a business man and that he owns quite a bit of land, not really sure how much more I remember from that. In a later call, I believe he said that Chuck would be important. Chuck also apparently has a Power level higher then 20 which seems to be needed to do a few things such as killing the creep.

Hey all--I've been following TIMM for about a week now, and finally feel like I have something to contribute.

A "palette" is more than just a range of colors. According to the OED (Oxford English Dictionary), a palette is also:

1. A thin flat board or tablet on which an artist lays and mixes colours. Typically oval in shape and having a thumb hole so that it can be carried in one hand while painting with the other.

2. Any range or assortment of similar items, qualities, etc., from which selection is or can be made; (Music) the characteristic range of tonal or instrumental colour in a particular musical piece or a particular composer's work. Also more generally: a variety or choice, a spectrum.

Of course, there are many other definitions than this, but these two seem to be the most pertinent (besides the range of colors one mentioned before, which the 2nd definition would indicate). Though I don't think it is incorrect to assume a palette of colors as far as food is concerned, I think this is also pointing to the idea that Jagoda is not human, or at least, not FULLY human.

"Palette" might refer to whatever is INSIDE Jagoda's mouth (perhaps not a tongue, but more of a sensor)? He's "chewing" it, so it has to be in his mouth. Given the other information we have about Jagoda, this seems quite plausible.

Sent this message to Chuck and TutisFrutys. Probably won't lead to anything but...::shrugs::

Subject: A sensitive taste pallette

I'm something of a foodie and I have a feeling you're a lover of the arts, including the culinary arts. So I have a little poem for you.

Sometimes I feel awfully blue
Others times I'm red with rage
When I'm feeling peach I glow
But mostly I'm a royal grape

Surely you know what I'm referring to? Something is always cooking in Milwaukee. Delicious!

I think maybe I'm getting loopy from sleep deprivation lol.

Red + Blue = Grape

Grape is purple/violet, which blends red and blue. I think it's a reference to the blue and red color themes discussed elsewhere?

Since London is gone, the BBC probably doesn't stand for "British Broadcasting Corporation".

"Blackstar Broadcasting Corporation"? Laughing

Jagoda friended me on facebook but it's his OOG account. He seems to be enjoying his new popularity, though. Poor guy! <3

I'm cross posting in this thread from the generic Communication from Residents thread, because I think it's relevant.

So:

I just got my first fax from TIMM! See below...

EDIT: Just a first thought - these obviously map to the Dark Dollar arrangements in the Reasonable Haven guide. I'm thinking now that we can somehow convert the Tweets from Chuck into movements through the Dark Dollar arrangements...

I guess we'll see as Chuck gives more updates.

EDIT 2: Incidentally, Chuck got to Big Brass City and sent an update at the same time the Fax was sent... Maybe I'm right. The update from Chuck was (no food!):

EDIT 3: I think we might need to overlay the city map onto the Fax... Well, assuming that Chuck continues and moves from city to city, instead of within Decatur/BBC.

I was fooling around with the fax, making it transparent as an overlay to the maps. I think there is something in there - characters? It could be garbage from the fax transmission, but I am hoping someone with better tools than paint could take a look at it.

I know most people assumed based on his initial reply through facebook that Charles Jagoda was OOG but I took a chance and sent him my little color coded poem last night and he responded.

"Hey Melissa,

You must be into Hinduism. I'm guessing because your middle name is Prana.

Thanks for the poem. I am into the arts and the culinary/nutritional arts especially.

So, what are you up to? What do you do? What are your interests?"

After my head was finished exploding (this is the first time I've gotten a response from anyone) I started to write a reply but I don't really know what to say. Is he IG or OOG? He seems to be playing along but maybe he's just being nice. I dunno. Anyway, below is the message I intend to send. If anyone has any ideas on additions/subtractions to the reply please speak up. I'll send it in a few hours.

"Hello Charles,

Or do you prefer Chuck? I'm interested in religions of all sorts. It's curious the things people are willing to worship given the right motivation. Are you a religious man yourself? Perhaps a Cool Dog disciple?

I'm in the arts as well. Drawing mostly, but I dabble in writing and music as well. Here's one of my pieces: http://kaliprana.deviantart.com/art/Lorelei-28520561. Nothing Jagoda Museum Center quality but I'm following my passion and that's what life is about right? What got you into the arts? Aside from work I enjoy a good book, a nice game of cards, games that stimulate the mind and music. What about you?

I love to cook (and eat!) to. I had an exceptionally good piece of pumpkin pie last week. It was from a can naturally, you can't find pumpkin fresh anymore and it cost me quite a few dark dollars but it was worth it. I guess money isn't really an issue for you though. What I wouldn't give for a big bowl of real strawberries or grapes! Maybe you'll get lucky and come across some on the BBC food tour. Oh, and I'd love your recipe for Tacolaza salad. There aren't many options available to a plant loving gal and I'm getting a bit tired of french fries. What are some of your favorite dishes?

Speaking of food, what sort of drinking man are you? Do you prefer Tequila or Vermouth? I'm not much of a drinker myself but I hear they are in Milwaukee. I think I'd prefer a nice glass of tomato juice.

I've considered the move, but I'm not exactly your power level and don't want to run into anything nefarious along the way, like the creep or fragments. Do you suppose the trip is worth it? Is there much need for another artist in Milwaukee or are they looking for something more practical? My husband is a chemist so I suppose that would help but what about me? And I don't mean to discredit Blackstar but well, what guarantees of safety do I have? Sometimes their actions lead me to believe they aren't working as hard as they should to protect people.

Oh well, it's not something I have to decide right away right? And there is already so much going on right now to deal with. I can't believe it's almost a new year already! What are your plans for New Years Eve?

Well look at that, I've talked your ear off. I had better let you go. Have fun on your food tour!

Namaste, Melissa"
