I've seen the Codex image before as well, but haven't found the source yet. Of course, they may not be relevant to solving any of the puzzles.

alright, my abilities in photomanip software are limited, so Ive got no work to post as of yet...

BUT the big dots are likely a diversion of some sort, the dots needed to be connected are those between the octets of the IP address...

What I saw when looking through gimp with the pic, initially to me looked to be artifacts in the rendering, however now I believe that there is watermarking around the corners of the photo. I can make out what appears to be a map and map fragments in the bottom left corner (keeping picture justified the same as it was delivered to us), script (cursive) writing in the bottom right, and a continuation of whatever is there along the top two corners.. most visably to the right of the words "Connect the dots" in the top right.

Im running all kinds of filters etc in gimp to try to get this stuff to stand out enough for printing, but being unsucessful... and as it is a BMP layers if any are lost afaik.

Can others start looking too?

There is definitely something there, I just don't know the right corrections to make it more visible.

here it is as I I have it at current. I adjusted the levels a bit.. unfortunatly the "Hidden" portion does not seem to be a color not used elsewhere in the image, so Im unable to isolate fully.(Plus, Im terribad at photomanip)

BTW, I did notice the world map when the colors are reversed like you have them.

Got the same email. Im still working on the image.. I keep getting it right to where I know if I was smart enough to know the next step, it'd be done, but then I dork it completely...
