That message has been in the background image since we found that page. Might be relevant to this, though.

Also might be relevant, but the newspaper clipping on your future/my past's blog has an oddity. When you save the .jpg and open it with notepad, both Photoshop and Picasa (image editors) show up in the first few lines of data.

I guess this is only the EXIF info from the picture.

I like to state the obvious: The new article image bears the same date as the other one we've seen on TSO's MySpace page ( http://www.myspace.com/thesecretorganisation )

Also, it seems TSO now has 51 friends (on MySpace). I mention it because at some point we were told by TSO that "Our organisation is still not strong enough to protect all of us against the enemy that will soon show its face" and we had speculated that we needed to get a certain number of people to befriend TSO... this is all [SPEC], of course, and 50 might not be the right number anyway...

Finally, for those trying to add an anagram to that url... The common approach for arguments being passed on a URL like that (after the '?' ) is to use (parameter name = parameter value) pairs.
So, perhaps something like this:
http://<some>/<some>.<extension>?password=mySuperSecretPassword

Instead of this one:
http://<some>/<some>.<extension>?mySuperSecretPassword

Edit:
I went back and checked the URLs where we had to add the password as a URL argument...
We found the hint at http://208.109.1.121/TQ/TheQuestion.asp
We got through with http://208.109.1.121/TQ/TheQuestion.asp?password=croatoan

It seems the PMs are using the directory structure to separate the puzzles. note that they included 'TQ' (The Question) between the server address and the page.
The current puzzle includes CTS: CrackTheSafe:
http://208.109.1.121/CTS/crackthesafe.asp

I really expected something to happen on March 1st. Did we miss something?

I don't believe anything was to happen March 1st. The first date we were given was April 1st which is when E.Y.E. arrives? And I also remember a warning for May 1st which as stated is the date in the recent article.

Since we've been given April 1st, May 1st, and June 1st on the E.Y.E. blog, I just figured March 1st might bring something interesting. Obviously not. Very Happy

I first heard about the TSO myspace from a link on wikibruce's website. I then added them and asked for a story recap.
So after a day of reading 22 pages of forum, I'm going to jump into the game, if it isnt too late!

Sadly, I have nothing relevant to add Sad

I'm not so sure that April 1st is a dead line though. I just think that E.Y.E. is going to reveal himself on that day.

I'm guessing in the future on May 1st Eve gets shot http://yourfutureismypast.blogspot.com/2009/02/i-have-to-prevent-this.html and YFIMP wants to prevent it.

And I guess June 1st is the day the virus takes effect and everyone disappears.

I sent another email asking about the chat. Here's the response:

Just plain O'l reaching here

Ok so maybe I just reaching here but maybe this might turn out to be something so here's my porposal....

On the E.Y.E.s fliker account the web address for the image reads this...

http://flickr.com/photos/90021040/3304855900/

with 90021040, just a bunch of numbers... well not really if you flip them around you get 04012009 which is 04/01/2009, the date that E.Y.E. is going to reveal himself. The thing I'm trying to figure out is this, are the numbers in the next slash our next clue or puzzle that will help us solve the connect the dots puzzle???

In my (limited) experience with Flickr any image you upload gets assigned a 'random' unique number. 3304855900 seems to be it, in this case.
Although, if anyone knows of a way to override this behavior in Flickr, or if we get a numerologist that finds a relationship of 3304855900 to our storyline... I'll be thrilled to follow that trail too !

Incidentally, a friend of mine (I hope we'll see her join our ranks soon) suggested printing the 'Connect the dots' image and folding it around to 'connect the dots'.
I tried folding it in 4 (top over bottom, then left to right) and nothing jumped up at me. The text (Connect the dots, and the IP address), however, aligned once it was folded.

Anyone been playing origami with that image ?

I tried a couple things with printing it out, cutting it in half, lining up the IP addresses, and looking through the pages with a light table to see if superimposing the dots on themselves gave me anything. Short answer: lots of work for no obvious results. Cursing

I cut it in half vertically and lined up the grouping of three dots on each side. Nothing obvious I could see.

Has anyone told Eve about the YFIMP blogger thing (http://yourfutureismypast.blogspot.com/2009/02/i-have-to-prevent-this.html).

She said she didn't know where she would be on May 1st, and that article might be about her. If she isn't in Times Square on that day then maybe we can prevent the shooting.

I tried adding her on Myspace, but I have not gotten anything back from her yet. I tried adding S.T.V and E.Y.E., and I'm still waiting...
