Spoiler (Rollover to View):
keroberos324 and I received the same e-mail and posted at the same time. As far as finding the entrance, you have to repeatedly refresh the page. A series of related phrases will pop up, many of them linking to known pages. At some point (eventually) E.Y.E will pop up! Click the eye and he will take you to the entrance page. I've been trying many variations of the dates we've received so far to no avail. Also been trying words and phrases related to the Apocalypse. Nothing yet.

Correct; I had missed the appearance of a new page in the set of possible pages displayed. I've tried a few possible passwords but failed.
I looked at possible anagrams of 'Object Day' but nothing jumped up yo me Sad

April1st, 20090401, 01042009, 04012009 lead nowhere as well.

I sent an e-mail to E.Y.E. to try getting some clues and received this response:

subject: Have you found E.Y.E., or have E.Y.E. found you?
-----Inline Attachment Follows-----

E.Y.E. am coming soon...

Revisit http://www.youtube.com/EYE04012009
soon and you might found out where E.Y.E. am.

If you're bored, read this in the meantime:

Also, watch out for T.S.O. as E.Y.E. do not
know whether they can still be trusted.

Keep in touch...

Still trying to find clues.

Finally received my "Is E.Y.E. showing himself?" email.

Regarding the entrance. I tried some terms I can relate to Day and Apocalypse: Doomsday, Judgement Day. No luck.

Are we sure that the page we are searching for has the format:
http://208.109.1.121/fae/findanentrance.asp?entrance=XXX

Is this a legal ASP syntax?

Yes

It's not just ASP, but one of the basic ways in which data is sent from your browser to the server-side in a web site/application.

The basic format is:
http://website/webpage.extension?parameter-pairs

Where each parameter-pair is "parameter-name=parameter-value"
You can have zero or more parameter-pairs; The question mark is needed only if you have at least one parameter-pair, and if you have multiple parameter-pairs, you separate them with '&' So, for instance:

http://mywebsite/login.asp?username=Olorin&password=secret
includes two parameter-pairs:
username = Olorin
password = secret

There are other things to consider when the parameter names and/or values include certain characters that must be encoded over the web (e.g.: a space, or the '&' character, etc) but I don't think we're having problems with that right now.

I'm un-spoiling since i don't think this needs to be covered.
Anyway, using the codex image, and encoding with the knight moves (by quadrant),
objectday = wjupki oin

http://208.109.1.121/fae/findanentrance.asp?entrance=wjupkioin
did not work

The space in 'object day' doesn't have a clear encoding in the codex image.

I also tried to decode 'object day' using the codex image, but 'b' is not the encoded version of any letter, since the letters one knight-move-away from it get encoded as follows:
J encodes into U
M encodes into U
O encodes into W

Re: object day
"object day"?

Maybe you need the codex for this one.

E.Y.E.

I've been trying to contact eye directly and have received two messages suggesting that the codex is the key. One through youtube and one through yahoo. Maybe we need to decipher a different pattern.

Good to know. The codex is important.
The other way the codex has been used so far has been with the column-row encoding.

Perhaps we need to look up on the codex image 20090401 or 01042009 or similar ?

BTW, if anyone spots errors in my attempt to encode/decode 'object day' above, please call it out Smile

...I just realized that the image on the findtheentrance page is the same as in the codex image...
xcept this time we have only the top half... but using the letters that are in the 'other half' with respect to 'object day' leads to 'u5186n 74g' which did not unlock anything Sad

entrance phrase: what is the represented object? What is the important day? (like "statue halloween" for example) that's what I get from reading "object day" as a clue.
but I don't know the answer, just thinking aloud Wink

The image represents the apocalypse so "object day" may be referring to the biblical reference. I've got the codex cut into quadrants and am trying to figure out whether we needed to change the configuration, but no luck so far.
I think we are missing something really simple here.

Just received a new email from Eve:

Subject: A new connection has opened

A new connection can be found at E.Y.E.'s location.
Are you a connoisseur?

New link on EYE's Home page ( http://208.109.1.121/ )
"Art" leads to http://208.109.1.121/tg/thegallery.asp

OMG my natural language come shandy for the first time:
the gallery page includes some text at the top:
"dood - peste - tradimento - memoria"

No clue about 'dood', but the other 3 words, in Italian translate to
"plague - betrayal - memory"
('peste' could also stand for 'scoundrel' but I don't think that's the case given the context)

Any classical art buff can identify the images on the gallery?
I'm picking up Dali, of course, Borsch (darn, that's not the right name... argh!) but not sure of the others for now. Thanks

Background text on gallery page clue is...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Never touch a painting more than once. You might not notice the transition, but only click a painting once. Doubleclick or incorrect click will result in looped hell.

dood is Dutch for death.

So yeah, guessing we need to click each painting in the order listed by the words.

ETA - correct order takes you here:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://208.109.1.121/tg/thegallery.asp?order=3412
Correct order was third, fourth, first, second.

New page gives a hint for "Object Day" puzzle.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Mark these "words" to find another piece of the puzzle. (By the time you read this, you might have figured it out.)
