This seems to indicate that the emails are being sent one at the time (my email was dated Fri, Mar 20, 2009 at 5:47 AM (EST).

...32.png... so, a large puzzle - although I wonder if they started numbering these images at 10 (previous puzzle by EYE used images 1 through 9)

Regarding the numbering I would assume that the first number is the line and the second is the row. So it is not 32 but 3-2

So we have 1-1, 1-2, 3-2 and probably miss 2-1, 2-2 and 3-1 if there is no fourth line or third row.

I thought of that.. and tried to decode via the codex image as we've done in the past:
1-1 = A
1-2 = B
3-2 = N

..doesn't seem to work :/
Looking at the images though, I think there might be a column to the right of the 32 image to give the 'circle' enough space to close properly...

For now it looks to me like a target mark... but the background of 11 and 32 also seems to have some faded scratches... (ah, the same horse we beat up with the connect the dots image ?).

I'm gonna grab a good cup of tea and see if the other people that received emails will post tonight.

There might be more than scratches. I can see letters: Something like "le" or "lc" on the left bottom of 33 32.

Using AUZ's suggestion I lined up the images on a grid [it looks right at least], I'll change the image when we more pieces to fit into it.

Missed some posts there. I noticed those letters as well. Hopefully, 31 will shed more light.

New Image
from Eve

Normally I don't visit on the weekend, but I couldn't wait to share:

Hello Bruce,
Here's a gift.
Cherish it, but feel free to share it.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Seems the image might have more rows than we thought...
was the subject of the email 'Hello Bruce' ?

Maybe a 6 x 3 or 6 x 6 grid?

6x6 would fit the Codex image.

Edit: I left a comment on Adam's blog 'demanding the truth' about Dante's location (just in case); we'll see if it gets approved and/or answered.

I also sent a reply to Eve via email asking how many pieces there are to this puzzle (got no answer to that one), info on Dante and Adam, and Eve's avatar (since it seemed similar to the TSO and ADam avatars we discussed in Chapter 0). Got a nice reply a little later:
Quote:

The avatar was indeed edited by Dante. He is really into that stuff.
I have not heard directly from him, but I know he is safe.
Well, as safe as possible in these troubled times.
Adam is fine, he's doing a lot of behind the scenes work for the organisation so we get to spend a lot of time together, which is great!

Greets, Eve

[UPDATE]Eve's MySpace

Eve has uploaded the "Connect The Dot" image on her myspace account. The comment on the image is "Quid Pro Quo" which means more or less "give and take".

[Correction] She has not directly uploaded the image but she links to the Flickr image. Therefore E.Y.E has uploaded the image to his Account (with the same comment).

Yes, it was. Thanks for posting to Adam's blog. I thought of doing that, then got busy at work.

I'm intrigued by the caption found with the 'Connect the dots' image in EYE's and Eve's MySpace pages.

"Quid Pro Quo", as wikipedia explains comes from "Qui pro quo". Either way it stands for "something for something".

Ah, the beauty of Latin, where the same word ("something") gets to look different depending on the role it plays in the sentence ("Qui" or "Quid" or "Quo").

The most intriguing part, however, is that originally the sentence meant "something (is misunderstood) for something (else)".

So now, we have two characters (EYE and Eve) that may be
A~ telling us we misunderstood something for something else (perhaps our current proposed solution for 'Connect The Dots' is not quite right?), or
B~ are engaging in some sort of transaction, where each does something for the other (could the 'something' be simply to post the image as they both did ?), or
C~ are inviting us to a transaction of sort where we'll do something for them in return for something else (and I'd imagine one or the other side of the transaction involves the 'Connect The Dots' image).

Nice! I updated the wiki page with the various tiles: Eve's Gift

Tile 22 seems to fit in row 2 column 2, so at this point it looks like the name of the image indicates its position. With tile 16.. guess we have 6 columns... still a few tiles ot gather :/
