The eyeamhere IP starts with 208. Might be coincidence.

Wow.. I hope it's coincidence.. can you imagine coming up with a set of 26 words with a total letters count matching a given number like 208 ?

BTW - thanks for counting all the letters.. I was going to do that but had a work dinner

This is what I've worked through tonight with no luck, I'm hoping someone else will get a brainstorm triggered.

As mentioned there are 26 words. 208 letters. Of those 208 letters there are 87 vowels and 121 consonants (including Y in the latter). Of note, 121 is also at the end of EYE's site address, going along with the 208 previously mentioned.

The only capital, Y, is the second letter in the 16th word. It is the 129th letter if you take the list one word at a time in order, and the 42nd letter reading top to bottom (all the first letters, then all the second letters until you reach Y).

I played around with other ideas but they were getting pretty obscure. I can't think of anything else to count, besides sheep when I close my eyes.

?combination=3-3-20
?password=3320
?password=3-3-20

No success. Crying or Very sad

New twitter from Dave:

Quote:

E.Y.E. is following me. Is he following you too? Are you following him?

Gonna look for eye on twitter

found him:
http://twitter.com/EyeAmHere
Dave was following him, indeed

EYE has a single message for now:
Quote:

EyeAmHereThe words E.Y.E. gave you are not meant to unlock the safe. The safe can be opened when the time is right. Now focus on the words.

This looks new to me - has it always been like that?
Note: That's the second out-of-place capital.

Check the background image

Behind the noletters image there is now a background image:
http://208.109.1.121/background.gif

Which reads, in the bottom-right corner:
Quote:

hAve yOu foUnd The caPitals iN tHe worDs thaT eYe gaVe yoU?

Edit: fixed a 'p' into 'P'
Edit 2: fixed other capitalization typos, sorry

http://208.109.1.121/index.asp?capital=Y
did not work, although I checked and that seems to be the only uppercase letter in the list of words...

Also, the argument name is "capital" (singular).. so it would have been nice

So we know that the words are somehow meant to give us capitals which are then meant to give us our way through 'cheCk' to... something. Great.

I'll assume for now that neither message from E.Y.E. is relevant to the answer, just hints to point us in the right direction. Time to print out about eighty copies of the list and start hunting.

I fixed some typos in my post where I reported the message in the background image - sorry for the mess up.

The correct message seems to be:
Quote:

hAve yOu foUnd The caPitals iN tHe worDs thaT eYe gaVe yoU?

(please seomeone double check on me Smile

Which leaves AOUPNHDTYVU
I'm going to try those (or just Y) togetehr with the capital letters in the post titles.

Also, I'm looking at the good'ol Codex image - might be we need to encode or decode the letters we find using that one

I am confused. He asked if we found the capitals in the words. So there should be more than one. But there is only the "Y". Also I do not find any capital cities hidden in these words.

And what about "Did you count?"

ETA:

New twitter from E.Y.E.:

Quote:

E.Y.E. assume a combined effort will be key to putting the letter together. E.Y.E. have given you 1 key. Have you used it yet?

Which key has he given us?
