couldn't that just be the pharmament.info he's talking about?

I think you're right. Didn't Dennis email someone once they got in?

Not that I remember.
http://pharmament.wikidot.com/puzzle:pharmament-login

Once you log in you get a hold of a file which leads to Gunspiracy.com (seems to record the time Dan O'Kean broke into Pharmament on Jan 3)

I got some things confused. Dennis's email to snorkle (in the Pharmament thread) mentions the hacking problem was permanently fixed, except for one small bug. There may still be a backdoor!

I've been fiddling around with the Pharmament site this evening, this was interesting. I'm not great with web design elements but without a puzzle to solve I'm grasping at straws.

pharmament.info has a 200kb favicon that saves as a bitmap but when I saved and tried to open it it said it was not a valid bitmap file. Is 200kb larger than average, and is the invalid file type normal?

I downloaded that file too.

I ran it through a file scanner to determine the correct extension. It said that the file was 58% probably an icon and 42% probably an mpg/mpeg file.

I know, i got excited too.... but....

I ran the file extension on the icon file from google.com and it said THE SAME THING. bit a shame, looks like it's just an icon file.

The only thing that's bugging me is that with the google icon i can open it up in the windows preview program, but i can't with the favicon. should be able to tho.

The google.com file size 1kb and the favicon is 199kb but the favicon appears bigger. Anyone else come up with anything?

I took the icon apart, it's 6 versions of the same image in different sizes. The 128x128 version of it looks like it has a watermark or something on it but it doesn't look relevant, back to the drawing board.

I just converted mpeg to jpg. Then each of the 6 images in the mpeg were individually visible.
