Where's the videogame? Well I guess they stopped production on the videogame because there hasn't been any news since May about it.
Anyone else heard?

no the people who were making it had to quit production and make another, similar game called Grayshot.
but then they quit making that game.
idk why though.

No he means the official Paramount game that some fanboys claimed would come. The people who made the (crappy) game Grayshot weren't allowed to use Cloverfield-related content in their game so Paramount told them to give up the domain I think. Because Paramount wanted the cloverfieldgame.com domain, everybody thinks that Paramount was planning to make a game. I think they just wanted the domain to avoid confusion and that they will never make a Cloverfield game.

Paramount was probably just protecting it's intellectual property. If there was ever a game considered, the actions of those 'fanboys' probably fouled things up enough that a game isn't likely to be created any time soon. I'm not so sure there'd be a point in a video game anyway. The film doesn't seem to lend itself to it.

about that, the lead producer of GRAYSHOT quit production on the game because he believed some aliens were gonna come down to earth and claim what was theres (go figure). but most recently one of the other producers of the game has picked the game back up and is recreating it with a new name, new monster, and new viral

I'm sorry, I did mean the official game, not "Greyshot" crapola. The guys who did that probably made a nice chunk of change selling the domain "cloverfieldgame.com" to Paramount.
I implore Bungie Studios (Makers of Halo) to work on this project.

Level 1: Join Tidowave, and raid the new Slusho Factory in NYC and learn the truth.
Level 2: Make the trip to the Tagruato Chaui's off-shore drilling facility to destroy it and survive the monster getting loose.
Level 3: Raid the Corportate HQ of Tagruato in Japan to expose the secrets of the company to the world. Destroy their satellite capabilities.
Level 4: Head back to the Atlantic ocean in search for the loose monster. Survive an encounter with the US air force and navy as they try to stop the monster at sea.
Level 5: Attempt to kill the CEO of Tagruato as he visits NYC.
Level 6: Survive the Attack of Clover in NYC.

Actually they didn't sell it. They were asked by one of the lawyers of Paramount( I think). Not sure what the guy said in person about the Official Cloverfield game in the making. The guy who was creating the "fan-made" Cloverfield game asked could he used the term "Grayshot" as another giant monster reaking havoc video game inspired by Cloverfield. Which was approved by the lawyer. Long as it didn't have anything from Cloverfield itself.
