Noticed my name and so had to sign up Very Happy ... I wouldn't worry too much about being on any kind of pace... I'm quite sure there was just as much luck as there was skill involved! Laughing Although I can't deny there is a part of me that would love to keep a hold of the No.1 spot for the bronze... yeh, I wish! Laughing Laughing

As for the purple... yeh Im pretty determined to get myself one Twisted Evil I wasn't aware Chris was gona put one on ebay, where did you hear that?

Oh... and I still haven't read the instruction booklet for the green... guess it's pretty irrelevant though now Wink

Oh, and to those who are still yet to buy a ReVoMaze.... what are you playing at?!?! Splash some cash... you won't regret it!! Very Happy Very Happy

Chris

BLACK

Anyone catch wind of the Revomaze Limited Edition Puzzles? The BLACK came out today. HOLY CRAP! Amazing puzzle. Theres only 20 BLACK LE's produced, so once they're all open, maybe Chris will authorize the posting of the maze for you guys. I tell ya what, WOW! I'm impressed!

At first I thought that these puzzles would be redundant because they all look the same with the exception of the color. Boy was i wrong! This puzzle took A LOT of dexterity and thought, was beautifully crafted, and with the glow-in-the-dark numbered coin to go along with it, this baby makes a beautiful piece of art.

Bronze
1 Week

The Revomaze Bronze will be here in 1 week. i believe this to be the hardest Revomaze yet. for those of us who have opening times of less than 10 hours on previous puzzles, i feel this may be the first big challenge for us.

For those of you who have been thinking about hoping on board and want a truely amazing challenge, this may be it!

Blue, Green, Purple, etc...
difficulity

I've been keeping up with the ISIS series, and have read about these on this site. They sound interesting, and it seems the color determines how hard the particuliar puzzle might be. I think I will wait for an easy puzzle...it's color should be CLEAR!
But, now that I think of it, one made with highly polished clear material might be a challenge. Kind of like the 'house of mirrors' at the carnival.

i had a similar thought. if the whole thing was made of clear plastic, maybe it would be harder. it would look cool though!

Yep, that coin really sets it off, real professional, and I'm only mostly biased Laughing And if you watch the video you might get a glimpse at 1:12 of what was used to create the Revomaze image on the coin Wink

The whole package looks quite amazing doesnt it? i love mine! all of mine ist on my desk at work, but i've gotten more attention lately with the black sitting in front.

Well the Bronze puzzles are out and now the first one has been opened. Congrates Farrel669!

WELL! The Bronze leader board is filling quickly and Chris has gone into making the future puzzles even HARDER. ONLY 7 Blue slots, 7 Green slots, and 13 Bronze slots remain. These are truely amazing puzzles and its quite exciting to see the ferver in which people challenge each other in order to get on the leader board even if they dont plan on going to the tournament.

Anyone who like a challenge, quick, go grab a blue!

May of you on this forum have met CornettRacing80 (CR80) and know he speaks his mind openly and harshly about EVERYTHING. Heres his tid bit on the Revomaze I Bronze...

Quote:
The Revomaze Bronze is in my opinion a must have puzzle ....the first two puzzles in this series are really fun and exciting in there own rites as elaborate labyrinth puzzles but the bronze has taken us into a whole new realm of Puzzles. The design of this puzzle is breath taking!...
I wont go into any details ,but this puzzle should come with a stress disclaimer! i am confident when i say the puzzle community at large has not seen a puzzle of this caliber the newest mind bending puzzle idea from the Revomaze company makes me think the sky is the limit on how intricate the final puzzles may be and makes me very excited to find out! I am very impressed ,beyond my expectations. i would not be affraid to lock a 100 dollar bill inside the Bronze Revomaze and allow all comers to try and retrieve it!....its that good!

BRAVO REVOMAZE

I'm still a little unclear on the concept of the RevoMaze.

So inside the cylinder is a small metal ball which you must lead through the maze, correct?

How do you tell how far along you are, or where you are? Is the ball heavy enough to 'feel' that? Does the center shaft move at all to show how far you are? ect...

Im sure Steve will jump on this one Laughing

OF COURSE! I'm a Revohalic!

Myelin wrote:

NO! unlike the Isis or even the Ramisis, which use BB to accomplish an opening routine, this puzzle has no BB's or random moving parts. Listening will not help. these puzzles use dexterity, memory, and self control. These puzzles are designed using simplicity, and are comprised of 3 major components, the body, the shaft, and the dowel (for lack of the correct term). There are minor components, like the stand and the face plate, but i will not go into detail about those here.

Imagine the body as being stationary. not the shaft can be twisted towards you, away from you, pulled out to the right or pushed in to the left. for the ease of me explaining how the puzzle works, imagine a pin in the shaft, and having to navigate the pin through a maze (like that you might find in an activity book). this is a very simple concept and therefore the puzzle, once in your hands is simple to jump into the challenge. the shaft does move in and out. here is the puzzle "closed" in its initial starting position:

And heres what it looks like as one gets close to opening the puzzle:

As you can see on the shaft there is an engraving. this is you puzzle number. i elected to buy an entire set and therefore all my puzzle numbers are the same. this is a standard option even if you are purchasing each puzzle individually, courtesy of chris and his AMAZING customer service. For example, one guy claimed his puzzle was broken, Chris offered to drive out to the guys house and repair the puzzle free of charge. Find any other puzzle company willing to do that!

In addition to the Revomaze return policy, i gurrauntee that if you buy a blue Revomaze, you will be 100% satisfied! PM me if you wish for me to expand upon that.

I don't know Steve, I don't know what to do.

Either way it's all fairly expensive. Yes- the ISIS is more expensive per puzzle, but there's already 3 Revo's out and the others are soon to follow. Maybe I just need to win the lottery, problem solved.

I wish I could test a ReVo.
